I remember the moment that I first saw the Tiny Voodoo Mask. After finally downing the hardest bosses in Zul'aman, I saw it drop. A trinket, that summons 3 little Voodoo gnomes that aid you in your combat. At that time I never felt much for that fun item. I always passed on it, too make another guildie happy. It dropped a lot, but I never even rolled for it.Then, WOTLK beta was online. And with my mage, I was travelling through the new lands. After finally hitting level 80, some lightbolt struck me. Mirror image, a new spell for mages that created 3 images like the caster. I was owning horde with it, because noone knew what too do about it.Back too my normal realm, I saw a guildie using the Tiny Voodoo Mask. And I was from like: WTF, Mirror Image + Tiny Voodoo Mask = Ultimate win? So, getting my guild too do ZA again, we farmed that trinket for me. We did like 15 runs, and never even saw it drop. Then WotlK launched, and I gave up hope. 2 weeks ago there was this pug, that wanted too 5-man Zul'aman. I joined, and we saw the Tiny Voodoo Mask finally drop! Everyone rolled on it, and I rolled 97 on it, and won the roll. Now, sometimes on the realm Azjol-Nerub you see a little human mage, jumping around like a mad maniac. If you aproach it, and you try too kill it, it will disappear out of nowhere. It will reapear behind you, with 3 copies of itself and 3 Voodoo gnome, casting thunder and frost, and taking revenche on an attempt to kill the little mage.
There can be only one answer for me. My Lionheart Executioner, cool as it is, was something I crafted after leveling Blacksmithing to 375. That took a long time, but my Giant Sewer Rat takes the cake. A total of just over 13 hours fishing and 1884 casts to catch him, but I finally did.
The most "Epic" item I have ever gotten was a day in Zul'Aman I will never forget. I was healing for my guild and doing a pretty good job.Until we went to Zul'jin. I started accidentally letting people die, I started freaking out. "Oh #$%^ we're going towipe because of me!" was the first thought that came into mind before the druid popped out of boomkin and combat rezzed our other druid who combat rezzed the lock and then our other healer got them to full. and while I wasnt payin attentionZul'jin changed forms. Now he was on the last stage. So I charged up equipped a ret item because I was OOM meleed for mana and delivered the killing blow. Then my most epic loot dropped Jihn'rohk The Great Apocalypse. It was my pride and joy for months to come....Then I got troll butcherer. But Jihn'rohk is still my most "epic" loot ever and I have yet to sell it. Well it won't be for long if I win the bear.
My most epic item wasn't for me. It was for my son, who also plays. We were leveling his rogue (his first 60) and decided to do Stratholme for him on, his first time there. We entered the back gate and moved in, pulled the first group. He was excited as it was his first level 60 dungeon. Got the pack down and what dropped? Krol Blade. He had never seen an epic drop before, I myself had only seen 1 other at that time (we weren't raiding). We gave it to him for it being his first 60 dungeon and he forever after had the nickname, Chuck.
The most Epic Drop For me? Euh it should be my t6 Set it looks cool But I dont know what more to saySo bye
The most epic loot for me would have had to have been my Dragonstalker's Gauntlets from Golemagg in Molten Core. The chance to get the T2 gauntlets and belt from MC was extremely rare (until, of course, they shifted it all to BWL and took all but the pants from MC), and my Dragonstalker's Gauntlets were the server second T2 drop and server first DS.I had fun sporting those for weeks before they patched MC and BWL and shifted all the T2 drops to BWL only.
My most epic loot was on my shamin.. the first time i went in to down the headless horseman the mount dropped. an i won the roll on a 100.. everyone said i had a roll hack. LOL.. I did feal really bad for getting it due to all the other guildies had been doing it daily an it hadnt dropped for them. an i was only lvl 68 so that made it even sweeter.. it was also my first ever mount drop.. i have farmed all the mounts an not a single droped mount till the HH mount.. i have spent over 2k gold in repair bills from farming mounts an no drops.. so when it dropped i was really happy an to have won it was just a in really sweet thing.. i still get a little smile on my face everytime i ride it.. so to get this rare bear mount would be just as rewarding if not more than..
my epic loot was a scorchling for the midsummer fire boss Lord Ahune.....after what seemed like 40 attempts to get the enchant it droped along with the scorchling........I won the roll for both ....loot for me
The most epic loot for me was the dark whelpling. I farmed wetlands for 2-4 hours each day for 2 weeks and never saw hide nor hair of the crimson whelpling. I kept thinking if I leave now it will be the next drop and I'll be $%^&ed.Finally I just said screw this and went to Swamp of Sorrows to see if I could get the emerald whelpling. I spent 2 days of farming the whelps there with no luck. On the third day of farming another player showed up and started farming the whelps too and I got frustrated and left. The next day I went to the Badlands figuring I'd give the whelps there a shot and the dark whelpling dropped after the third kill. I was so freaking excited to finally have one. I was on this weird happy rush that I ALMOST went back to trying to farm the other two but then I realized it would just be easier to farm the gold and buy the others from the AH.
