It was the last day before the release of Wrath Of The Lich King, and we ran Zul'Aman one last time. This was the first time that Rage dropped, and I was lucky enough to be the only one in the group to have any use for it. It's still my Main Hand to this very day, and I'll be sad to see it go. Something about a troll rogue with a giant freaking claw just makes my day.

Last day a AV battle! we were 28 allies and they were 38 horde! They got us lock on our base! We were heavily outnumbered!, we had some a lot of 73-75 only like 10 were lvl 80(1 was me)! they got us! we lost every graveyard..... we had less than 100 reinforcements they had over 300! the turtle was imminent and our PWN was too :SBut the light was with us.....We.we....... WON the BG and I got my 3 AVMoH! XDXDXD 10-0 LOL that was EPIC!
Stronghold Gauntlets. I was one of the first to have them made on the server. They were also my first epic ever.
I would have to say the most epic loot ever obtained for me was my http://www.wowhead.com/?item=15794. :P I headed down to Feralas to farm those Gordunni Dirt Mounds with full intent to parade around Ironforge wearing nothing but my loincloth and my http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25682. Unfortunately, I ended up farming those dirt mounds for a good couple of hours without seeing the loincloth. (Guild wasn't raiding that night, I was truly that bored.) When it got to the point where I just couldn't stand farming for the thing anymore, I limited myself to three more mounds before I would give up. On the second mound I finally got my loincloth and successfully paraded around Ironforge in nothing but a loincloth and a pimp hat. :) Win, imo.
My most epic loot was the Lok'delar, Stave of the Ancient Keepers and bow. Not being from a guild that could field 40 (or even 10 at the time) people, getting down to MC and getting the leaf was amazingly hard. Eventually, with much effort to start joint raids, I was able to get my leaf (and some other hunters that were in the same situation) so we'd have our bow.I still have it at level 80 in the bank.
I actually have been playing WoW since it started and I still have to say the most epic piece of loot was my flute of Piccollo. I tried so long at lvl 60 to get it from Strat and finally it dropped. I loss the roll but the guy who won gave it to me because I told him how many times I tried for it.I think the final run for it was 50+. You know how much fun that flute was when you caugh everyone outside MC or BRS (Before BC of course).Still has it's uses.
My first wolf kill that gave me some sinewy wolf morsel and a battered club. To think that a lion would cry about a splinter while these poor wolves are walking around Azeroth with maces stuck up their butts :(
The most epic drop I've ever received was something I very much deserved. Every day for a straight 2 months and 15 days I rolled into Sethekk Halls; PuG's, guildies, friends - everyone helped my much desired quest to get something that would truly make me feel complete. So, when that day came... my 115th run; 1 week before the launch of WoTLK and in the same week as my birthday... I couldn't even begin to describe how wonderful it felt. There was no lewt ninja-ing, it wasn't the most perfect run of Sethekk, just a random drop with some of my good friends in WoW. This wasn't about an "achievement" or that "it looks cool," but an end to a chapter in my druids saga. After putting everyone through Sethekk that many times; I come back to this story and say... if you really want something that bad, then go for it - nothing is impossible... and as troublesome as random drop-rates go; you meet a lot of good people on your "Epic" journeys.http://bewaresplinters.blogspot.com/search/label/Achievement^There is my blog, I recorded the historic day. :)
