some things i do hope the team keeps working on going forward are all these physics based attacks and abilities, just that general feeling like you're really being thrown around with some of these moves but still have a modicum of control over where you end up. i was also a big fan of the auto targeting, and how you could cast pretty much everything while moving even with the slowdown. what a massive QOL change that would be for all casters?
I think innovating WoW is good. I personally didnt like Plunderstorm and I still dont hate it. Keep innovating WoW (I am super hyped for delves)! My question now is just, how was it recieved? How many people enjoyed it? and is it enough engagement to keep continuing it?
Even though the game mode wasn't really for me I appreciate them trying new and different things and hoping to see different game modes/mini games in the future. Just keep doing what you are doing, don't listen to overly negative people.
guys i am literally laughing out loud and wiping tears from my eyes reading the comments from people claiming to be forced to play this game mode, too funny! keep em coming this is comedy gold right here!t. someone with cm gold weapons, swift spectral tiger, numerous pvp elite sets, and 40 renown in plunderstorm season 1.
WoW players dont like PVP and they'll cry about it and force themselves to do it for transmogShoulda known blizz jeez
Gotta put Warcraft back into Warcraft. By trying to make the game for everybody, you end up making it for nobody.
I warmed up to it, but played mostly for the mogs, as I don't like this game genre. Absolutely hated the Creator Royale, too many insufferable people.
It was a cool event. But FOMO ruins everything always. I would played the hell out of this if there were zero rewards tied to because everyone would be playing it to have fun. Instead it was only about grinding plunder to reach the arbitrary number so you could get the rewards before they are deleted potentially forever. So like everyone else I just grinded hard to ensure I got my rewards and then felt so burnt out I never touched it again afterwards. There is also a question of if you wanted to play a battle royale why wouldn't you just play one of the main ones which have refined the genre to near perfection? The people only come to WoW to play a fantasy RPG.Regardless it was still a neat little event and plug-n-play type of events where anyone and everyone can jump into it are cool and should be done more in the future.
I loved the adrenaline it gave me, Really loved it. Sad to see it go away. I managed to get my husband up some lvl too, since he didn't like it. But since my playtime depends on how my body is atm cause of pain. I can't sit and grind for hours. I hope you will bring it back. Its a fun way to pvp.
My biggest complaint about plunderstorm is that Trios should've been added in the beginning.
Plunderstorm was an absolute success for me. It was an enormously fun gamemode with awesome rewards behind it. Players that just aren't good at the game are salty because they think they need to be handed everything without putting in the effort. They don't understand that not everything is for them and they don't need to have everything. That being said, those people were the biggest problem of the gamemode. I had so many matches were people just wanted to farm the plunder and ran away from every fight possible. With too much mobility abilities most matches were extremely homogenized for the last teams standing.I hope Blizzard does more experimental stuff like this and learns from Plunderstorm to create even greater things!P.S.: Quoting Steve Jobs is a big yikes dawg. Dude was a tyrant and stole a lot of ideas, claiming they were his.
