What event triggers this buff? Or is it random?

The haste rating granted on this buff is 150, and it is applied to everyone in Orgrimmar. Very very fun if you get a low leveled melee character in Orgrimmar as this buff is going off. My 3.2 second axe on my level 10 warrior was swinging in less than half of a second; at that level 150 haste rating gives you 550% faster attack speed. For the hour that this buff was on me, I was able to take down any and all who came in my path.

129 DPS on a level 10 Warrior? Yes please!

When the head of Rend Blackhand is returned after a player completes "For the Horde!", the end of the first part of the Onyxia prequest chain, all players located in Orgrimmar are buffed with this buff.

It just buffed me in the barrens, It starts with someone handing in a quest and the quest giver shouts out and thunder sprays around everyone :)

You get this buff when your hear :
Herald of Thrall yells: Honor your heroes! On this day, they have dealt a great blow against one of our most hated enemies! The false Warchief, Rend Blackhand, has fallen!
Herald of Thrall yells: Be bathed in the power of the Warchief! Drink in his might! Battle for the glory of the Horde!

This happend 10 mins ago on Draenor-EU.

Is there a reason a player would not recieve this in Orgrimmar? I had kings on but did not recieve the buff.

This was unbelieveable a while ago on my banker i got this buff, Orc Shaman and i just so happened to have bought my first spell when travelling to orgrimmar, Rockbiter Weapon so i went and bought myself a Common weapon from a vendor. What next? I soloed gamon i had like 0.5 second weapon speed it was insane.

When Thrall WIN's vs. Ally's, he Blesses you if you are in OG ...
Pretty cool, with lvl 40 you can even Pwn lvl 49 :D

As a low-level warrior, this buff will tempt you to become overconfident while grinding.
Do not risk dieing. Warchief's Blessing does not persist.

Not working as intended as of this posting. The 150 haste rating granted by the buff does not give any spell haste at all. I discovered this when my 39 Paladin got the buff and noticed the speed of my spells had not been reduced and under the spell tab it said 0 under spell haste. Posted it on the bug forum, hopefully it gets fixed.

As posted by the reply, I did miss the "melee" part.

I've got this buff applied on my Alt Rogue level 16..
And with all others buff for stamina I've got 1,700 Health and my speed on Daggers was 0,86 so I nuked score 15 in 3 minutes at Alliance spawn so they nuked me and I died.
Then I've got kicked out of WSG..

This buff is no longer available, I tried to start on 2 toons and had a friend try to start the first quest. And you can no longer pick it up from Warlord Goretooth! :(
