On another note if you can't find the cave entrance its at about 70,76.

To complete this quest you'll need to seek out the cave to the southwest of the lodge. The Cave Entrance can be located at: 70, 76 and the Rusted Skystrider is all the way in the back of the cave on a hill surrounded by water at: 78, 76

For those who don't have cords, the entrance of the carvern is just to the west of where the question mark is marked. You will have to enter the cavern to complete this quest.

The cave is a little farther to the west of the yellow ? I was with my Mage-Fire Level 41. lots of proto- chickens and ostriches to kill , before you reach the plans in this quest. Low level toons team up its the only way to collective get to the plans. Level up.

For those without coords, The entrance to the cave can be tricky to find. Turn directly around from the question mark and go down the hill curving left around the hill/rocks. The rock opening should be on your left at the bottom of the hill.

Completed on level 20 rogue, Starter Account, stealth and stay by the walls, move from one side to the other to avoid the mechanicals. One note, there is a rare, Optimo, that may be in the cave. He WILL aggro on you, even a stealthed rogue.

The cave this quest takes place in became a likely point of interest for mechanical pet hunters. There are unpainted striders, robotic battle-chickens and there's Optimo which is a red, blue and silver mechanostrider. Apparently according to Bingles these striders all have personalities. Good stuff for hunter engineers.

Find the Rusted Skystrider inside Ironwing Cavern.

Description

I've actually nearly perfected my dream machine: The Skystrider! The world's first flying Mechanostrider! But, well

When I was putting the finishing touches on it in my secret cavern lab, my other creations became, er, jealous. Giving mechanical birds a personality to begin with was probably a bad idea, but that's already done.

I need the Supermechanical Robo-Widget from the original Skystrider if I want to rebuild it! Please, journey into the cave and retrieve it for me!
