This quest does not count toward Northern Barrens Quests.

As of this date, he is not at the entrance to the cave, nor is he jt inside it. I went a ways inside, and didn't find him.

Found him standing inside the Instance entrance with Ebru and Muyoh (another incarnation from the one in Southern Barrens I guess?). The three of them are literally just inside the entrance to the instance, once you've trudged all the way through the main cave to the bottom to get to the Instance entrance.. past the oozes and assorted Deviate Slayers, Deviate Stinglash (es.. ers? lol) and other level appropriate beasties. Entrance btw is at inside the main cave. Hope this is helpful.

Ug, must've been a glitch... I've done these Quests before where you have to walk with someone, and they always walk very slow... but in this instance it was 1/4 walking speed. Took a long long time to complete.

The raising Naralex quest is bugged and has been since 2010. I've been here waiting for 15 minutes and still Muyah is trying to raise him.

Where are the Wailing Caverns? I looked around the forgotten pools, also around the Stagnant oasis. I had assumed it would b e close to one of those places. I just need some broad hint here about where to go looking.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

From the outside cave entrance, you curve around to the right and then as the path straightens, you enter a crossing type intersection. There are a lot of hanging spirit thingies on the ceiling here. To the right is a very short dead end, straight ahead is the primary "time waster", and you want to turn LEFT. You will know you are taking the correct path if you notice that the floor of the cave is sloping downward and there is a blue-green pool of liquid a short way down.

Follow downward using the blue/green as a guide. Keep going and cross any pool you need to. You will reach a massive "Cavern of Mists" eventually which includes the Instance Entrance. Once in the Cavern of Mists, keep to the right and the Wailing Caverns Instance is fairly close.

You SHOULD have no problem finding Nalpak once inside the instance. If YOU do, please let us know...

In summary,
From 1st waypoint, bear right, then take next LEFT and continue downward... in the Cavern of Mists, keep right to the instance

It's worth mentioning for Alliance players, even though you don't have access to this quest, you can still activate the Disciples of Naralex event.
After defeating the 4 Fanglords, speak to Muyoh back at the entrance.
This will start the escort event leading to battle with the final boss in Wailing Caverns: Mutanus the Devourer.

Description

Now, as you can see, that is no longer true. It is a land of great torment and strife.

The Disciples of Naralex seek to cleanse the Wailing Caverns and bring them back to their former beauty. Speak with Nalpak just inside the Wailing Caverns to help.
