He is not down by the swamps and stuff, but up on a ledge above all that.

Apparently Flint and the Stonefather are related to DMX. Their entire conversation at the end is done in yells.

To people farming for Heartblossom... DO NOT TURN IN THIS QUEST!

The phasing of Needlerock Chasm for this zone makes this place a lush farming ground with herbs 5 yards away from each other.

I surmise that, when Blizz nerfed the spawn points of Heartblossom in Deepholm, they did not alter this phase. Will most likely be fixed.

I came here on my druid to do the quest, and when I showed up in the area around the boss, my mini map was FULL of yellow dots, displaying from my Herbalism... I have never seen anything like it during my 5 years of WoW. I picked em' up in under 2 min, a total of more than 90 herbs..

Maybe it has do do with some kind of world phase?

I don't know how y'all farmed all these heartblossoms. Each one i found had 3 troggs guarding it. All within aggro range of it and all 3 always aggro'd together. As a poor priest i was owned each time. i admit, my skills are not the best, but i think Blizzard really made them darn hard to farm when you are solo. just sayin. lol, i imagine this post will get a lot of flack. oh well. btw, i gave up finally after dying a million times and just went ahead and turned the quest in. :(

Description

We found out where the Stonefather is being held and young Flint ran off on his own to rescue him!

I don't have to tell you that this is bad. Flint is going to get himself captured as well, or worse!

The stone trogg chieftain, Bouldergut, is at the end of the ledges above Needlerock Chasm to the north.

Please, <name>, you must go after Flint and free the Stonefather before we lose them both!
