The Amulet is under water on the 2nd ship to the west. When u try get the item and add will spawn and you will have to kill him to get the amulet! :)

About 71, 53. Be on top of the second boat and drop down the crack. There is a group of skeletons. Click on them and you will summon the Spirit of Grol. Loot him and you Win!

71,35 confirmed. When you touch the skulls, you hear something behind you and the spirit of Grol yells "You will never take amulet! Grol lives forever!" "Grol will kill you!" then he jumps you ready to be finally put to rest and give up his precious amulet.

For those without coords, there are several ships, or partial ships, in the water and on the land. This one is not touching the shore at all. It's the front half of a ship with the nose pointed toward the land. The pile of skeletons is under the water in the chamber with the canon. It's toward the front / raised part of the ship, but still under the water.

so, I get the amulet and the ghost pops up for me to kill. but after I killed it, I still can't get the amulet. And when I touch it again, he pops up again. Is this happening to anyone else?

Also, to get to this quest you have to get the hero's call quest for blasted lands, he will then give you the Minor Distractions questline, then do the quests in the keep ( Eliminate the Okril'lon , Nethergarde Reigns and Remove Their Arms ), then you'll get a quest to the mage tower ( Watcher Mahar Ba ) to kill cultists ( Cultists at our Doorstep ), after that you get the questline to this guy ( Kasim Sharim ).

After you have done his initial quest ( Attune the Bloodstone ) you only have to do the ( The First Step ) (and the very quick followup Blood Ritual ) one to unlock this quest.

I was randomly swimming along lol then found the amulet of Grol which is located in the middle ship and I've submitted the screenshot.Hope it helps.When you click the skull like thing the spirit of Grol appears then you just slay the beast.

You have to click the Head of Grol to get Spirit of Grol to spawn that drops the amulet at 70.89 35.49.

As of today, this quest is bugged. At the very least it is on the Winterhoof server. Trying to interact with the Head of Grol brings up the error message that the item is already in use. I had tried logging out and back in, exiting the game entirely, and abandoning and retaking the quest. The normal troubleshooting steps.

In the end, I found that there were three other people (just on Ally side) in the zone having the same issue. Not sure if any Horde players were having the same issue, as I didn't run into any Horde pandas to translate.

Yup same issue guys i seriously just camped my guy there came back every 5 mins then prob about after 6 times doing that came back and two of him spawned lol it works guys i mean its bugged but eventually it works. Camp it out

As with all zones that have Zodormi marked on the map to swap between an old timeline and current timeline, make sure you are on the correct phase! Visit the chat bubble Zidormi on your map to swap between the two timezones.

I had the same bug problem. I went over and completed "The Tainted Forest" story line and the bug went away.

The Amulet of Grol

Obtain Grol's Amulet from the Shattershore in the Blasted Lands.

Description

Grol... the ogre.

<Kasim laughs.>

It would seem that Grol's body no longer rests with the ogres. His body, along with his amulet of power, is in a wrecked ship off the Shattershore, to the east. His amulet is the last... once combined, the three will give us access to Razelikh, and therein lies our chance to stop his madness.
