You're going to have to kill quite a few kobolds for the cheese, the drop rate is fairly low.

I cringe whenever I see a quest that requires looting kobolds. You can usually count on two things when kobolds are involved:

1 -- they are going to require a LOT of quest items, often 10 or more;
2 -- the drop rate will be terrible.

I think I had to take down close to 40 of these to get the 10 pieces of cheese. I hate kobolds.

I feel awful killing those rams, the sound the poor things make when they die..sad, they're just trying to munch some grass...
I'm trying to do it all in one shot but there's still a glimmer of life in them after that, so strong......

Upside, droprate is great and eggs are mixed in with them

Coordinates to where the cheeses can be found is 64.56 89.79. Other co-ords listed here did not work.

A Proper Peace Offerin'

Collect 6 Kalimdor Eagle Eggs, 8 Ram Haunches and 10 Boulderslide Cheese pieces.

Description

To make the perfect peace offerin', I be needing the following ingredients:

Kalimdor eagle eggs, obtained from Kalimdor eagle nests. They be scattered about the forest to the west.

Ram haunches! You'll find ram haunches on Stonetalon rams.

The last ingredient be a little tougher to come by, but we be needin' it to make the ramlette. Head southwest to Boulderslide Canyon and find the kobold caves. Kill the kobolds and take their special cheese.

Bring it all back and I'll cook up a masterpiece!
