The protectors are standing next to little pavilions around the lumber camp. Co-ords for each on is as follows;
Protector Endolar (85,56)
Protector Arminon (85,58)
Protector Dorinar (85,60)
The Ashenvale Scouts are scattered all over the place in between each protector. You can also do the quest "Making Stumps" while doing this one.

"Wet Work" is a slang term for murder and assassination, referring to blood being spilt.

Endolar is next to a purple tent.
Arminon is next to a huge log, just across the road from the main building.
Dorinar is a little farther down the road, standing in the center of four benches.

The smoking brazier is over the road and opposite the southern entrance to Satyrnaar - the spot on which the yellow question mark appears when completing "Wet Work" is misleading.

If you can not figure out how to turn in the quest you return to the brazier and use the secret potion again to summon him, it will be in your bags.

So this is confusing, and not at all obvious...

To turn in this quest, you go back to the brazier and interact with it, whereupon your character (or, if you're on an RP server YOU...) will throw the Secret Signal Powder/Potion into the fire and then Krokk will come sneaking up the hill to allow you to turn the quest in.

Description

There are three leaders in this region who are commanding the elves, keeping their focus directed on the lumber camp. Slaying them will certainly cause panic and disarray, hopefully enough for us to successfully complete our mission.

While you're at it, bringing down their scouts can only aid our cause.
