Ursula spawns when Coren is at 35% health, and will begin to disrupt your group. She throws a barrel on someone's head that disorients them for several seconds, and if it's your tank or healer, it could cause a quick wipe.

If you are taking lowbies through to do the quest, have the people that are DPSing the boss switch to her and kill her first, then go back to the boss. She will spawn again, but not immediately, which will give you time to finish Coren off. Between her dying and her spawning again is when you want to use cooldowns and trinkets.

While our hunter kept shooting at her, she only barreled the hunter so we could avoid any complications. Could someone confirm this?

Related to the seasonal encounter with Coren Direbrew in Blackrock Depths as of Brewfest 2008.

She is one of two Brewmaidens that spawn during the fight and will throw random players a barrel of brew causeing them to wander around Barreled! for 8 seconds. Ursula doesn't have much HP. Killing her will only cause her to respawn in a short while, but might be recommended to save the tank from losing aggro to a barrel. Only slowing crowd controls work, incapacitating ones don't.

Ursula and her barrel stuns are the only complications in what is otherwise a very straightforward fight. She stuns whoever is highest on her threat table. Unlike Ilsa, her relatively-harmless sister who appears at ~66%, her targets are not random.

When I tanked the fight as a paladin, I told all DPS to focus on the boss (since my Consecrate would handle all the adds) and boss only. The only exception was Ursula, for whom I'd assign one DPS (ideally whoever was the lowest damage-dealing melee, but really anyone can do it, including cloth wearers and high-damage pets) the task of tanking her once she appeared at ~33%. I would tell the Ursula tank to save their cooldowns to maximize the odds they'd grab aggro off me. Meanwhile I'd ramp down the level of Consecrate I'd use to further ease their job. Having the Ursula tank take her eight-second stuns instead of me always made the last third of the fight much, much easier (and funnier; seeing a cat druid scatter about with a barrel stuck to its head never gets old).

For some reason, no matter how often I repeated "Ursula" and "33%" every single DPS I assigned the job to would, their first time around (and sometimes afterwards), instead grab Ilsa. Many times I had to quickly type "/p Ursula, not Ilsa!"

Ursula Direbrew is easy to handle.

As a tank I was grabbing her and holding on, but that's the *wrong* thing to do. Let a Hunter Pet or DPS off tank her, at least for threat, and she won't constantly Barrel the tank.

Beyond that, its easy, just pop CD's when the healer is Barrelled.

Killing her does not work; she'll just respawn.
CC'ing her does not work; she can't be CC'ed.
Trying to get the group to work together does not work; no one pays attention anymore.
Just put a skull over Coren's head and ride the wave hoping the rest of the group will stay focused on him until the fight is over.
