You haven't heard? The Artisan's Consortium is a group of adventurers and merchants who formed a company to bring crafters and customers together!

Later on he will give players specific crafting advice in answer to their questions:

( ) How do you decide which reagents to use when crafting?

That's an excellent question. For me, when I'm just trying to create something and I don't care about its quality, I use the lowest quality reagents I have, since they're easier to gather.

But when I'm trying to make the best quality item, I use the highest quality reagents!

( ) How do I get better at a recipe?

I get this question a lot, many crafters think that the best way to get better at a recipe is to keep crafting it.

Far from it! The best way to improve your craft is to make recipes you've never tried before.

Making higher quality items also hones your craft. The higher the quality, the better chance you have of learning from the experience.

In truth, the only way to get better at a specific recipe is to specialize.

( ) What is recipe difficulty?

When we artisans talk about a difficult recipe, we mean the difficulty relative to your total skill.

Your skill is more than your experience as a professional, it's also the gear you use, your choice of reagents, and how you specialize. All of these influence your total crafting skill.

If your total skill equals or exceeds the difficulty of a recipe, you will always make it at the highest quality.

( ) When can I craft the best items?

Many novices think that their craft will only become useful w hen they've learned all there is to know and can craft the most advanced items at the highest quality.

But in fact, even as a practicing apprentice, you are already prepared to craft greatness!

Even if the items you make could be better, eventually you will be able to recraft them or salvage your old work into new reagents. So do not hold back on your craft! Craft away, craft away!

( ) How do I make something high quality?

Great question!

Making a high quality craft requires, as you might expect, a skilled crafter and high quality reagents. Your crafting equipment is also important, as is your specialization as a crafter.

( ) How do I gather high quality reagents?

As you becomes a more skilled gatherer, you will tend to gather reagents at higher qualities. Your gathering equipment is also very important, but most of all specializing in what you are gathering can make a huge difference!

Finding good reagents is not a matter of luck, it is simply experience!
