Easy kills on boss raids should not be considered. Easy mode is for casual gamers. Hard mode is for showing off.
So...now what? So, now the professional WoW guild gets to try their hand at the hard mode encounters for the real world first clear of the new instance. My casual guild spent a night in Ulduar, wiping repeatedly on the first encounter before figuring out a strategy that would work, then wiped repeatedly on XT before calling a night. The next night, they cleared XT and Razorscale on one team. I think that the encounters are properly keyed. Casual players and guilds will find their challenge and fun in new bosses. Pro guilds will whip through the easy mode content to get their "world firsts", then they'll find the challenge and fun in the hard modes and ultimately the "Raid Destroyer". People will just complain because they need something to complain about. They'll complain that the EZ mode is too easy, then they'll complain that the hard modes are too hard when they can't clear them in a week. Congratulations to Ensidia for clearing content that was supposed to be too easy for them and good luck in their quest to meet Algalon. Yeah, I know, old news is old, but I hadn't seen this yet.
