think that Blizz should make a Raid experience that scales with your Level. Think about it... When WotLK was released ppl stopped doing the TBC raids & instances because something "better" was released. With an instance that scales with your (maybe the leaders) level, and it was 20x harder than any other raid, there wouldn't be a release of it, and in 2 days some guild has already cleared it >.<
I'm actually very impressed with how they handled the raid experience this time around. As a casual gamer, I might actually see Yogg easy mode and I'm happy with just that, then the hardcore gamers will still have their challenge with all the other hard mode crap with all the various specifications and such. They're tailoring the game more to the masses rather than the very small in comparison group of hardcore gamers but at the same time, putting in content to cater to the hardcore players. From both a gameplay and a business perspective it's genius.I think they may have overcame one of the hardest hurdles a game can encounter and that's giving such a broad range of users exactly what they need. The fact that WoW has become so huge and that so many resources have been pumped into it, it's developed into an insanely good quality experience for everyone. However, it is really too early to tell and no matter what there will always be complaints, you can't please all of the people all the time.P.S. This "clear" is what I would consider comparable to saying you "beat" something like Metroid with 42% completion on easy mode. Sure it's done, but it's not done well. Keep at it, get the 100% on Hard mode, then say you beat it.
Congrats, Ensidia. Now get out of the damn house for a while.
I will say, however, that I agree 100% with Blizzard on holding the highest level items for hard mode completions and not just full clears.Whereas people can PUG their way to Kel'Thuzad for a chance with super-high-level gear, the best gear in Ulduar requires doing the hardest challenges. Very well thought out.
I prefer THIS Yoggy-shoop to the one in the first post...
Yes. The content is FAR too easy. Back in the day (ahh, nostaliga) even elite guilds took weeks on getting an encounter right.

I see you went to the I Found YoggSaron thread? : >Anyways, yeah, I agree on the hardmodes. The most hardcore guilds in the world did what was intended for casuals? Wow, yeah, gratz. Now do it on hardmode, scrubs! >:3
25man raiding is easy, 10man raiding is the real deal. Has he been killed on 10man yet? dont think so.
To quote a wonderful quote..."Amazing. You have nothing to do now that people that aren't you have cleared Ulduar. "
Yogg has been downed in 10-man.. And many guilds have agreed that 25-man IS harder in Ulduar.
I think I'll just come out on a limb and say that if you have to spend 2 straight days to get a world first, just because you consider yourself "ub3r 1337". . .Sad
My real question is:WHO CARES?Good for them. They cleared the new raid in 2 days and now they will either start grinding it over and over... or just quit. I for myself still enjoy simple stuff like fishing, cooking, selling stuff on AH, doing dailies and so on. Am I less interested in the new content just because some uber-guild cleared it (already knowing stuff from PTR)? Come on :-)
