Woo hoo! Time to level up the cooking on them alts. Or, to break out the spreadsheet to keep track of what goes where with whom from where. Bring forth the feasting.
Anything new in 2013? It doesn't look it.... it's still -the best- way to level your cooking from 1 to 325 or more, for almost free ... just a bit of a time commitment when you farm turkeys for the final bit... and don't forget the 10% rep buff! I wish they would add something new to these holidays every year, to make them worth revisiting.... I realize that they're "busy doing WoD" but come on....
I agree that holidays should be updated--making the Marionette an actual battle pet this year generated a ton of interest for Day of the Dead. People like the Darkmoon Faire updates as well.
Pilgrim's Hat: for transmog, it's identical to Comfortable Leather Hat for Leather and Fireheart Skullcap for Clothi just tried to mog that and you cant.. i think your info is wrong >.>
As always, I'm excited about this holiday event, the time of year when I can spam up all of my new alts' cooking skills in a matter of hours.
You're a little confused, Noixz. It's saying that if you want to transmog it, it is identical to Comfortable Leather Hat, so you'll have to find the Comfortable Leather Hat to transmog if you want the pilgrim's hat's appearance.
it's still -the best- way to level your cooking from 1 to 325 or moreHm, it seems to me that the best way is the Halfhill cooking school, where it may cost a bit more gold but you can go from 1-500 without even taking a step.
little clear would be nice
they didnt update it agian ?aw come on blizzard you can put atleast a little bit of effort in the events each year :(
Still waiting for a Turkey mount
Would have loved a nice piece of gear not unlike the Halloween event. Ah well, back to Timeless Isle. :-)
I was hoping they'd add something new to give people something to aim for. Another disappointing event to me.
This year I'm breaking down and finally getting my turkey...hopefully.
She ment those 2 Items (Cloth and leather Boe) "Are" Identical to the pilgrim hat . Not the Hat itself is not transmogable so you'll need to find those 2 items.
I remember last year that even though the food's name was grey for cooking, it still gave skill ups. And as a rogue, when someone tries to shoot me, I'll just throw a smoke bomb, get on a flying mount, fly out of range and laugh at them. The gun has a cast time and if you don't have a target, it will auto target the person trying to shoot you.
Ah time for one of the holidays I enjoy.(Almost) free food is always good.
Too bad they dont have a mount for this holiday. Like maybe a donkey or a giant corn on the cob :)
Sad but true, no new items to gather :\\ So this event is only good for pushing your cooking skill from zero to ±430 for new alts who don't have cooking profession on high skill. Good luck hunting Wild Turkey.
"You will then need to complete eight more daily quests in order to get enough Turkey Shooter to transform each different race of rogue for Turkey Lurkey."Is it not ten?
And now its time for all those rogues, to Stealth while there in cities, and stay the F away from everyone xD
