I could be wrong here, but I think the reason they let fury equip polearms is not for the agility bonus.... I think it's for moggin' it up.I think it's more likely that they didn't want Fury to miss out on the return of strength to polearms.
I think Blizzard have just finished nerfing every talent, skill and even the very playstyle of Locks now.My Character on 5.3 has a average 100-120k DPS (520 iLvl - No Movement, now that KJC is gone)The same character transfered to 5.4 PTR has a average of 30-45K DPS (No Movement, now that KJC is gone)
Any word on how Scribes will learn the new glyph recipes? Trainer, NPC, or another Discovery system? Or are they just replacing old glyphs?I remember seeing a tweet that someone found some recipes dropping on the island.

ice lance is the weakest spell of a frost mage, the crit given by old mastery gave its power... this is the biggest nerf in wow history and still noobs havent realised it...
"Harvest Life no longer replaces Drain Life. Harvest Life is now a passive talent that increases Drain Life's damage by 50%, and healing by 150%. The talent no longer turns the ability into an area-of-effect spell."NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!Agree, they turned the most awesome talent in the new system's history into a meh. Now demonology has to rely on that wannabe-AoE beam which never hits entire pack.ice lance is the weakest spell of a frost mage, the crit given by old mastery gave its power... this is the biggest nerf in wow history and still noobs havent realised it...You realize that Ice Lance is the spell which triggers the new mastery's damage, right?
Nerfs and buffs galore. Blizz loves to mess with warlocks, druids, and hunters. That is kind of bizarre they made Drain/harvest not AoE anymore - maybe they thought locks have enough AoE already. Cheers to the resto shaman buffs, though. Maybe we'll see shamans pulling well ahead of some other healing specs. No reduction for chain heal is big. I'm going to have to try to gear for resto now.
A Murder of Crows now deals 40% more damage.Ok so, 40% more from what? How much damage does it do now?The only place I've found info on AMoC damage is EJA Murder of Crows: RAP * .206 + 560.834 per hit (30 attacks) - scales with BM mastery as well as hunter damage multipliers (this does not stack)-Rivkah EJBut it's still not clear if it's 40% from RAP, or 40% of flat damage (which would put it at 785.168 from 580.834).The flat damage is more likely though.
ice lance is the weakest spell of a frost mage, the crit given by old mastery gave its power... this is the biggest nerf in wow history and still noobs havent realised it...Yeah, whatever. Over on the battle.net forums, experienced players have been cranking out the math on this over and over, and the range of conclusions is not much broader than somewhere between dps-neutral and modest nerf. You're right that ice lance on its own is weak, but mastery wasn't the only thing that made it powerful. Mages still have Shatter and will continue to have Shatter in 5.4. Additionally, it's not like mastery is going entirely away. New mastery will buff Ice Lance as well, perhaps not entirely compensating for the loss of old mastery but restoring the bulk of it.The sum of all these changes? Not the biggest nerf in WoW history. Not even the biggest nerf in this patch note update.
Welp, looks like I'll be extending my break from WoW due to "non-family related" reasons. On another note, I have NO idea why WoW is becoming the RPG branch of "Call of Duty", and yes, I just made a comparison between two seemingly unrelated games, right? Wrong. Activision Blizzard currently manages both Blizzard Entertainment and all of their franchises, and the Call of Duty series. As to why they are embracing a really detrimental mentality onto WoW, which has NEVER been an instant learn game, I have absolutely NO idea why they are self-mutilating themselves to death. Heck, it maintained the old, self sustaining mentality that kept the kids away, until the merger back in 2008. And the rest, is history up to this point. It's trying to say something, but I don't know what.

I love tagging a dozen mobs and dragging them around on glowing green leashes to my pet's whirling blades and then smashing them with HoG
Still no love for Ferals :(
Stooooooooooooop screwing with my warlock blizzard! You are taking the fun out of it!
If seal of insight wont give prot palas mana, they will go oom eventually and it would be rather stupid mechanic...

I must admit, I am excited for the shaman talent tweaks. Totemic Restoration was pretty much a worthless talent for the most part and Totemic Persistence means I can now have my searing totem and my fire elemental totem out at the same time and that I can drop both healing tide and healing stream at the same time. This also makes things a bit more interesting for resto shamans, as they can now have two water totems out at a time, should they choose this talent. It is nice that healing tide totem is universal now and affects up to 12 players in a 25-man raid. This should help group survivability in LFR a bit, as there always seems to be at least 3 or 4 shamans present.Shorter CD for Astral shift and better shield from stone bulwark are nice too.I am intrigued by the change in the conductivity talent. Even as elemental, I drop these with fair frequency in raids to help out the heals in high damage phases and I like that they will now last longer the more lightning bolts I cast. A couple of questions though: do the lightning bolt/earth shock/etc extensions stack? Take for instance, if I were to cast a lightning bolt and an earth shock in quick succession, would that add 6 seconds to healing rain's length or would it simply refresh the 3-second extension? Does the enemy have to be in the radius of the healing rain to have the effect take place? It will be interesting to see how shaman healing will be tweaked in this patch. I don't know much about healing (I dos almost exclusively), but it seems like a lot of stuff is getting changed around for shamans.I also like a lot of the glyph tweaks. Ghost wolf while in spirit form : ). I wonder if that includes the speed boost. That'd be nice. I don't really care for the troll themed cosmetic glyphs, but thats just me. Fun time to be a troll shaman, it seems.
Readiness has been removed. Why oh Why.Like hunters were doing insane dps at this point.
all these spell changes and buffs and nerfs make wow a very boring game.. havent they buffed, nerfed ,changed everything 4 months ago? and 4 months before than that? and before that? druid that i used to play 1 year ago is very much different than the druid that i have now. i try to adjust myself to all changes and when i feel lile i m used to my char, they change everything again. and again and again and again.. i m sick of all these stupid changes.. dont worry they ll change all 4 months later again..
