I think making Elder Charms more useful is a great idea. And first!
I have an idea! Let's take the rogue's Shuriken Toss and make it stronger for basically no extra cost in regard to duration of the ability! Let's make the most broken ability in the game... more broken! Lol what a joke.
At 100 energy, you could get 5 ST throws off if you weren't using the auto attack. Now you can get 2. I don't see the problem. This will make it less powerful.

Let's make the most broken ability in the game... more broken! Lol what a joke.Because an attack that's weaker than Sinister Strike is broken. It's like spamming Arcane Shot as a hunter. It does a grand total of -very little-. You're probably mistaking it for Deadly Throw, which silences at 3 combo points or higher and applies a 6sec 50% reduction speed debuff. THAT is useful. Shuriken Toss... not so much.
hmmm. A 4-second cast time spell for something that can be killed in a few GCD before it even gains 1 charge? -Not usable in arenas-Not usable in rated battlegrounds-Not usable in unrated battlegrounds-Not usable in world pvp-Not usable in raids (lack of Avoidance)-Not usable in capital cities
Hooray UHdk have now to stay in unholy presence if you want a decent rotation! What a great news for a player that switched main char from warrior (for the obviously nerf)to a UH dk, so even healer can kill us :\"
Had a thought not more than an hour ago that I wanted to try out Shuriken Toss, because it seems more fun than the other (now ONLY) viable talent, Anticipation. Thanks for that, Blizzard!
wow, killable gateway? It was already a pain to cast, wait for it to be ready, and now we have to take care of it? Warlocks won't even be able to heal it (so far), and between 5 and 4 secs cast isn't really gamebreaking.. I would make it killable, 50% hp +100% res but 3 segs casting and 5 segs charging
you know what the need to inplant daggers transmorg fist weapons
you know what the need to inplant daggers transmorg fist weaponsThey said they can't do it ATM mainly because daggers and fist weapons don't share the same attack animation, tech stuff.

Let's make the most broken ability in the game... more broken! Lol what a joke.I have no idea what you are complaining about. This is a nerf, not a buff.First off, Shurinken Toss deals less damage than Sinister Strike, secondly, while they made it hit 100% harder, it also costs 40 energy instead of 20.previously a rogue with 100 energy could cast 5 shurinken toss and gain 5 combo points while doing so.Now? you can cast 2 and then have to wait to cast a third, and have only 3 combo points after doing so.The overall damage is still the same (Ability hits twice as hard, but also costs twice as much) however, the combo-point gain has been nerfed, because previously with 80 energy you could do X amount of damage and get 4 combo points, and now with 80 energy you can still do X amount of damage, but only get 2 combo points.Bottom Line: not a buff. A nerf.Hooray UHdk have now to stay in unholy presence if you want a decent rotation! What a great news for a player that switched main char from warrior (for the obviously nerf)to a UH dk, so even healer can kill us This is yet another complaint that just plain simply doesn't make sense. Unholy was meant to be played in unholy presence. This nerf was mostly aimed at unholy DKs in blood presence in pvp. On PVE, since the dawn of MoP, being unholy in any presence other than unholy was a DPS loss. Why would you want another presence in the first place? if I could I'd have my frost Dk in unholy presence as well.
So it seems that this patch is dailies free? We get loot from the quartermaster (476 ilvl), lesser coins from mobs. All that's missing now is valor. any ideas how we get that during Battlefield: Barrens?
Excess Elder Charm of Good Fortune can be used to purchase an Arcane Trove/Sunreaver Bounty.YES. Now I have an even better reason to mess around with the solo scenario!
The worst thing is on Shuriken toss, where getting the last combo point is harder. Now I want to know how the "empty supply box" works.
Now I want to know how the "empty supply box" works.Toss it on the ground, then click on it (it has a vehicle-like "Get in" arrow) then leave it safely on the opposite side.Personally, the whole treasure scenario seems like a good idea, with a bad implementation. The way its currently setup classes with stealth, or CCs (And SPECIALLY classes that have both, like rogues) have a HUGE advantage over those that don't. The goal of the scenario is also skewed. You have 5 minutes to reach the end, kill the boss, and then talk to the pandaren on the red flare zone. However to do this would mean having to skip EVERY single treasure chest on the other rooms. This wouldn't be a problem if killing the end boss and actually reaching the red flare panda gave you a big fat reward (its not easy, that's 5 min of dodging mobs, traps, and still do enough DPS to kill a boss and reach an NPC) but no, it gives a paltry sum of gold and 1 tresure trove key for the chests in the final room. Its actually more profitable to ignore the boss, and just open as many chests as you can, but even that is hard for classes that lack CC, and while you can buy items to CC mobs with your Elder Charms, these are CCs that after they expire, put you into combat.its not like, say a mage, who can sheep that guard, open the tresure chest next to him, walk away, then sheep the next guard, adn the previous one is none the wiser. Nope, the sleeping dust, and frost runes you can buy to CC them, as soon as their effects expire, the mob will be hostile and will have to be dealt with.
Shuriken toss is exactly the same damage per energy except half as many chances to apply poisons. And since rogues are energy starved that means its the same dps. So its a nerf. Oh yea, fewer combo points generated. Double nerf.
