Wait so there is no new things on the gear for Locks that's not kewl at all. They get bashed so much. I miss BC dayz where I was the terror of the pvp world.
Great. nature damage. Can't they ever realise paladins are about holy dps?
the spirit beasts are a cool pet but a porcupine... i would have to say its not the best pet to make a spirit beast but hey other people have there own likes and i can see many people will just tame it just cause... as a hunter i love that BM can have its own special kinda of pets it gives more variety in each hunter you see, hate how people complain about not being able to get spirit beasts but anyone who is BM doesnt get explosive shot etc it all evens out..also the item upgrade npc's, i thought they wer great and taking them away will suck cause as anyone can have the same gear but have upgraded armor which makes them be able to put out more dps, healing etc taking that away will take away the differences between same classes...
i feel like they pushing us shamans to go elemental as i see elemental getting buffed and enhancement just staying there or gettin small nerf that is just my opnion though i hope they dont make elemental over-shadow enhancement as i love the dual-wielding aspect of enhancement
Not a big fan of the porcupines, they look nifty, but I wasn't feeling it when I tried one on my hunter, so I'll definitely be passing on taming one of these should I see one. I do think a spectral crane could be nifty though. Or heck, a spectral turtle would be awesome.
I think it would *maybe* help if Blizz realized for a moment that the world has changed since warcraft began, as has the WoW Azeroth. You may have begun with teenage boys but now have everyone from children to grandparents playing and everyone's lives have become more of a Tiime as a Precious Commodity. This is behind many peoples complaints about what they have to do with their time ingame in order to do what they want ingame. Like all the preparatory stuff. I am now watching my first grandchild and helping out with some of my children's things as well as being an older person and all life entails. My kids talked me into playing wow and it has had some interesting side benefits, as after a disabling injury I lost some motor function and brain function. Hand eye coordination is being aided by playing wow. and left and right brains talking to each other better again. In fact I have met many players who have handicaps or who are older adults. But I get dismayed that sometimes I cannot complete ONE set of dailies on ONE character per day and if I DO, then I don't get anything else done in the game. not because I dont' want to, but because for someone like me it isn't humanly possible. I would suggest that they begin easing you into dailies from level 86 in pandaria so you aren't hit with them all at once! I've been a couple of flights away from a dragon mount for weeks, and because I plant and harvest on one toon, I dont get one other set of dailies done. Life is speeding up, people have less and less time, and prefer to spend that time, especially in a game where we can unwind and socailize etc...in ways that are the most fun for them. i dont want to have to spend it all on one set of dailies towards one goal. So don't denigrate that as being "lazy" or "you just want the rewards without doing the work" that is a very one-dimensional answer from what appears to be a rather shallow person. Its a complex world, and complex and diverse group of wow users. Many smaller games offer options of how you want to play the game, and in some respects WoW does so without you having to make an official declaration, but you pay for it in terms of loss of ability, loss of raiding, loss of gearing up, etc. if you don't invest more of the aforementioned Precious Commodity ie Time...in this already time-sucking game. I can do all the things I want to do if I dont do anything else in life...and I have met a few people in wow who have actually taken that route and got so invested in the game that they lost relationships, or lost jobs, friends, money, etc. Obviously the game while it doesnt' create addicts, tends to attract people who have addictive tendencies, and in that respect could be compared to gambling or drugs but catches the ones with technologicial addictions. I have been playing three years, for a year there most of my wakign time, and still have parts of vanilla on up, that I haven't done yet or seen yet. I have only on one toon done lich king and one who did part of cata endgame.
For those complaining about daily grinding on alts..Many factions have no benefit to grind to exalted on more than one toon(shieldwall, shado pan). If you consider the double rep bonus commendations and that most of the factions only have to be ground to revered, its not really a big deal. Some of those would even be done just doing the quests that go to them.
WOW....were to start....I am so far behind on raiding etc.....mostly because my main focus has been and will continue to be professions. Yes I know weird.....BUT I am finding not all dailies are the same. Each faction has different amount of "points" given. From tillers to celestial these totals are very different. To get a tailor to be able to make the 28 slot bag you have to be exalted with celestial and can not even start on this until you get revered with golden lotus.Given it gets easier for the enchanter alt but it is still weeks if not month(s) of grinding. I play daily, have 4 90s at the moment, my first hour is to do tillers mote planting so I can make steel, cloth for bags if I ever get the pattern, and for my bs to make armor. Then I grind golden on my tailor and now on my enchanter. This is at least another hour. Then I do celestial dailies on my tailor and soon on my enchanter. This has been going on for two weeks. My hope is by the end of the month I may finally get to make these oversized bags. To finally be able to have the wrist enchantments......but yes this is a grind and stops me from doing regular looking for dungeon runs or scenarios. I started with 9 85s.....yes I have no life :) I started off slow as there was so many different directions to go.....I actually got frustrated with the game and considered not playing anymore. Thank god for guildees :) Like many I use wowhead for info when I can not find or figure something out. it is a god sent (for years). I figure if things go right about the time the next expansion comes out I will be ready to raid this one.....I guess I could go to just one toon, but which? I have one of everything but a dk (got two druids). so yes raise the points per daily, at least level them all out. It should not take months to be able to make an item IMO. It is bad enough the high lw patterns need mats you can only get from reg raids but this I am used to. sorry for the vent but this had to be said....I know most players do not care for this side of the game but I find it more satisfying and fun than just hack and slash alone.
bull.....the 4 professions that need to be grinded out are tailoring, blacksmithing, letherworking, enchanting.tailoring and enchanting have to be grinded out via 2 different factions. then you have to grind out for tillers and order of the cloud serpent (if you wish to cook or fly serpents).then add lorewalkers if you want the cloud ride. If I had the time I could probably also give you the count for each daily.....but they are different depending on faction.yes you get a bonus once you get one toon to revered. BUT I can tell you it is a grind for the first toon......then half a grind for those after.....For those who have jc's we got used to doing dailies to get the cuts and then buying patterns from ah..
should be interesting
Indeed, porcupines are becoming an obsession. Porcupette? Spectral new porcs? Spectral porc pets? Hello Porcy Adventure?I hope Draztal is getting paid enough. He is working big overtime trying to look like a clown and keeping his sanity at it. I mean, really, blues used to post one ass-stupid reply for one thread, and leave players with their deserved qq. He posts so many times? He really reminds me of some other blue, don't quite remember his name... some yeti... Grimmiku or something. The one whose job is to pretend he is a noob hobo who is so bad and stuff and illustrates all the idiocy players are facing and he enjoys it. And if a blue enjoys it - so must players! Period.Honestly, I don't see the problem with Cata\\WotLK tabards. You get what you work for. You want to cover rep asap, like
Dailies are a terrible excuse for content or timesinks, as are arbritrary reputation grinds with out-dated in a month rewards. The only exception to this was Isle of Quel'Danas.Nothing else will suffice, no matter how hard you attempt to shove it up everyone's...throats or deny how tedious doing the same crap 25x a day on five characters is.
