Awesome! I can hardly wait for this expansion!
Very nice, thanks for the update!
There but for the idiocy of Ghostcrawler go the skilled players.
=/ the calm before the storm is always the harshest and most brutal to endure. It wasn't easy waiting for WOTLK at the end of TBC, wasn't easy to wait for CATA at the end of WOTLK, and now isn't easy to wait for MoP at the end of cata.
Thanks for the info, keep us updated, i want to be the first to see the 5.0 trailer :)
Everything looks pretty promising with the exception of the new talent tree look. As far as the gear goes that is great that they plan to up the stats on all pieces, but I know on my realm that it is hard to get achievements because no one runs the old stuff much anymore just to get achievements. Even Firelands now is run only by a few people and with me being a mage that has the quests for the legendary staff; it makes it all but impossible to get that item.
ITS SO FLUFFY! I CAN'T WAIT!
Very nice set up.
Very nice guide. Also, i'm curious when this MoP expansion will open on PTR?
Very nice guide. Also, i'm curious when this MoP expansion will open on PTR?never.Expansions are never tested publicly. They first go through an Alpha, that is only tested by Friends and Family of blizzard employees. Then they go through a closed Beta, that is only tested by a handful of individuals randomly chosen (Except this time, since getting the anual pass means guaranteed spot on the beta) and members of the press. Such as BFF, Tankspot, wowhead, ect ect.And then finnaly, its released to the public.
But Cata was tested on PTR...
But Cata was tested on PTR...nope, it was on beta the whole time. And that beta was private. Only those lucky punks who got an invite were able to access it.The only thing that made it to the PTR was the systems patch (4.0) that added the revamped talents, and the post-shattering azeroth. However in THAT ptr, none of the features of cataclysm were available for testing (Including worgens, goblins, lvls from 81 to 85, the new 5 lvl zones, new BGs, guild levels, ect)All one could test there was the new talents, and the new-old low lvl zones.
But Cata was tested on PTR...No, it wasn't. It was tested in Beta, which you could only access by invitation.
oh, now i understand, thanks :)
neither can I my friend. Also I wanna know about this " possible jewelcrafting mount" that sounds like it was in the works.
Extremely nice Guide .
Thanks for the update. When are the current MoP talent trees going to be up so I can review them again. The current page is blank.
go to worldofwarcraft.com click the panda on the right, 'new features' scroll down.. 'talent calc' =P
Most of you sound happy about the changes in MoP but i for one am kinda dissapointed with what they are doing. Why cant you fly at sixty like before? Stupid! hate the new talent system, why cant you just improve one we use now instead of changing everything up. and what is that whole thing with hunter melee and ranged weapons gone, nothing says what they will use hunters only get pets?there is no problim with making things better as long as you actually make them BETTER!

You can still fly in the old world, Outland and Northrend, but flying in Pandaria will require a new license earned at 90.-Hunter melee weapons and ranged weapons are being removed to simplify the system; Hunters now have no minimum range and Rogue and Warrior skills that involved throwing weapons will now use their main-hand weapon instead. They're moving away from the concept of "stat sticks".-The new talent system is being implemented because the current talent system is fundamentally broken, and simply adding more points or changing things up won't actually fix it. I'm sure the new system might seem daunting but it actually is making things better.
