Yes, he did send them might....and he told them either serve Horde or die to the Night Elves; they didn't have a choice in attacking since the Elves would have gone for them eventually. And Sold, that still doesn't excuse the Night Elves for wiping out their village and way of life.
Sold, Elves vs Trolls, they've been fighting for more then 10 thousand years; one side or the other would have attacked since there isn't enough space in Darkshore for the two racist races on the planet. But in this case, whether the small nation of the Shatterspear attacked first, it still doesn't excuse the Night Elves for wiping them out completely; if you notice, there's a metric &*!@ ton of bodies up there, and more then likely some of them were civilians trying to run, since the Elves don't care about things like that when it comes to enemies: They made that pretty clear in the Third War after all.Edit: So why is it that the Trolls are 'murderers' but the Night Elves aren't when they are doing the exact same thing you are saying the Trolls are doing? Seriously man, you have to be smarter then that.
Then you need to open your eyes and look at the bodies on the ground.
I guess I'm getting a little tired of hearing the devs talk about the 1-60 revamp as being the biggest, best part of Cataclysm. Yes, they revamped the world. Yes, it needed to be done. No, I don't think they should credit an entire expansion to that revamp.Anyone who picks up the game or plays a free trial now plays the world post-Shattering. It is the new World of Warcraft, not limited only to Cataclysm. The shattered world will still be there when Mists arrives. All of those painstakingly-revamped quests will still refer to Deathwing as an imminent threat, regardless of the fact that Thrall and the Aspects already destroyed him. The devs have talked about "streamlining" the quest content so it wouldn't be so jarring going from one xpac to the next, but obviously that never happened. So, once again, as we move towards the next expansion, we are left with a huge amount of obsolete content... 60 levels of it. Far more than any previous expansion. Once Mists arrives, new players will progress like this:1-58 - All quests refer to Deathwing and how he must be stopped, and just look at all the terrible destruction he wrought!58-68 - Deathwing mysteriously disappears. All quests now refer to Illidan, the Sunwell, Outland, and the imminent Burning Legion.68-80 - Burning Legion mysteriously disappears. All quests now refer to the Lich King and the imminent Scourge invasion.80-85 - LK and the Scourge disappear completely. Deathwing pops up again out of nowhere, once more the imminent threat.85-90 - .....where the hell did all these pandas come from?So yeah, I really wish they wouldn't point to the 1-60 revamp as all of Cataclysm and conveniently not mention how small the actual 80-85 content is.And to top it off, now they're telling us to wait 4-5 months until Mists, with 4.3 and LFR (which has already been out for 2 months) being the only things to tide us over. So basically we are sitting on one patch for roughly half a year. I'm struggling to see the part where Blizz is "trying to roll out content at a faster pace."This is all pretty trivial anyway, as most players sit in their respective capitol city and BG/LFG/LFR, and nothing else. It's sad what this game is turning into.
I have gone and leveled in a few of the 1-58 zones. What I have found is they hardly talk about DW in a lot of them. I know in the Southern Barrens they talk of war. You see the Alliance and Horde fighting, the same is going on in Stonetalon. Some places haven't changed much, such as the Nigth Elf/Orc conflicts in Ashenvale. Ungoro crater still has you surveying the land and helping out the camps. Very few have even mentioned Deathwing in name. They mention how the land has changed and that seems about it.The new zones are more worried about the imminent threats in the area, such as Alliance/Horde conflicts. Zone related conflicts, such as the Grimtotems in 1k Needles. The list goes on. Now I haven't quest all that much in some places, and I only have one Alliance toon that is out of the starting zone, so I'm not sure how a lot of them are.
Personally I think that Cata have done a great job in revamp the 1-60 content, and I do enjoyed it. However, we may see from the market's reaction that there are many player not agree with my opinion. Most of the "new" players are still alts so they won't quite fancy the new content as a totally newbie, though only those compared old with new could know how epic the change is. If Cata's revamp is developed during a uphill stage I'd say that's great, but it's obviously that the game is going downhill. Don't get me wrong, WOW is the peak of MMORPG and I can't see any one better in foreseeable future, however WOW's limit (which could be treated like the whole market's limit) is reached.
I knew MoP would be soon, but this for the last patch wow
Sure there will; if they put out Diablo 3 and Heart of the Swarm before it.
They do have separate teams; but Blizzard wants to make money, so they won't release a Starcraft game at the same time as a Warcraft expansion.Edit: Heck, that's why they said there will be no Blizzcon this year, because they want to get all three games out.
