My first time playing SCII and still playing Campaign before I start going out there so I'm not to worried although what do you mean block? Are you talking about using the Supplies thingy mah jig has a barricade?
Was that question for me? If so, there are generally two kinds of blocks - "supply block," where you fall behind on building Supply Depots/Pylons/Overlords and are forced to halt the army production before you can increase your supply; the other one is the God-awful-and-hated block of the chock/entrance by almost every Terran. Building a Barracks and 1-2 Supply Depots is usually enough to block your entrance, making a rush with melee units impossible, and with ranged ones - nearly so.

I play protoss almost exclusively. I found the zealot and warpgate changes were kinda annoying, but honestly not that bad. It seems like it will suck against zergling rush, but that's about it.
I think it's funny how many non-terran players @#$%^ SO HARD (present company excluded, so far) about the wall-in. Think about it from the other side, guys: By the time I have marines up, there are already lings and roaches in my base. Or zealots, but that's going to be trickier now. The Protoss can and does do this as well, though usually with a one unit gap that a zealot stands in since they lack a dropping suppy depot. The only race that can't do this practically is Zerg, and let's face it, that's what movable spires are for. Is it OP as so many claim? Considering how easy it is to pop a supply depot, I don't think so. It's much harder to break a photon cannon line, and cost-for-cost it's only marginally more expensive to do. The unit nerfs don't really affect me that much, though the drop in siege splash does suck. I was expecting Marauders to take a big nerf bat to the face, though I don't think they really deserve it. I would have liked to see something done with Voidrays though, a Protoss you can delay until s/he has a group of those just wins the game.TL;DR: "Scissors are OP, Rock is fine. -Paper."
Well, yes, sortof. Ram was more powerful if you were breaking down a factory / barracks wall, with marines behind, as a cleave wouldn't really hit anything. The new cleave will be more powerful for just scything through a base generally, or wiping through a Protoss wall, perhaps, since you can take out the Zealot as well.
