In the druid resto tree there are (atleast) four talents that are not correct, compared to what blizz released.Nature's BountyEmpowered TouchEfflorescenceGift of the EarthmotherAll of them get's the wrong tooltip if you put more than one point in them. Efflorescence and Gift of the Earthmother is the worst, as they revert to what they are in the current trees. The other two merely drop part of their description.
I do not think the new trees are terrible, but I am underwhelmed by the amount of 'free' talent points we will have. One of Ghostcrawler's biggest comments was they wanted to get away from cookie-cutter builds and give players more 'choices' or free talents that can be used wherever you want. (more so than in wraith). This just isn't the case. I did my restro-druid, moonkin and shadow priest, and in all cases, I really didn't feel I had a substantial amount of 'choice'. For instance, in Wotlk, I had maybe 3-5 talent points my moonkin had to debate over.. in Cat, it is about the same. The restro build has even less choice, and I really can see almost all restro druids taking exactly the same talents (raiding). Not saying it is bad, I just don't think GC has achieved his goal of freeing up talent points so players don't feel locked in.
The new Cataclysm talent trees, are just way to awesome. But I do have to ask. Are the masteries bonus going to be added to the new talent trees? Thanks for the hard work in getting the talent trees set up.
3/3 improved exposed armour & 5/5 relentless strikes would mean that a rogue could do a 5combo point expose armour at no cost. (well the cost of one rogue global aka 1sec)that's nice for guilds without a warrior tank or fights where warrior tank isn't on your boss.and it's HUGE for pvplet's hope this stays :)
Not sure if this has been discussed previously but with the additional talent points you can reach dual wield while still filling out the necessary talents in the Shaman resto tree. Does this mean that I will be able to dual wield healing one-handers? A little too much maybe? Not even sure that this is not done now (but you would lose the core points in the resto tree if you did go this route)
I've been trying to make a Combat Rogue build, and unless raiding changes dramatically (I know healing does, but DPSing seems to be the same), there's a lot of talents that are underperforming in a PvE aspect. I can see getting them if DPS are going to be more responsible for taking damage than in WotLK, but other than that, I'm wracking my head around the tree trying to figure out what to take as I make my way to the bottom of the tree.
