My favorite memory would probably be killing Ragnaros or Nefarian for the first time. Lots of wipes, blood, sweat, and tears to finally kill those bosses with 39 other people was amazing feeling. Made us feel powerful, something I don't feel much in the game anymore like the old days... lol.
HAI ULK!
My Favorite time in WoW was very interesting due to the fact that it was fustrating beyond belief, but a good lesson learned in the end. It all started when I became obsessed with the Time Lost Proto drake. I camped for my first week in Bor's Breath with only a handfull of sightings of Vyragosa. Through that first week I would camp in one spot and watch movies on my M15x Alienware which I got for a steal off Ebay ;) Zombieland became my best friend along with an accumulation of junk food from Safeway, which killed my 10-15hr a day camping sessions with a breeze. Second and third week go by and Its like shootin fish in a barrel with Vyragosa. She sure loves taking those strolls through Bor's Breath, or maybe she was just happy to see me. Anyhow, I meet some "competitors", and make friends with a few to kill time trading PvP war stories and RL stuff. Fourth week rolls by, as I'm watching Zombieland at 4am and it gets to my favorite part with Bill Murray, I hear the great battle drums roar in the background. With panic I switched screens and begin to do to Time Lost what retribution Pallys are know for the best. PWNing noobs! When I loot the body I feel such a sence of gratification for being patient for something that I really REALLY wanted, and that moment means alot to me because I see alot of impatient players that just want an easy ride with the game. If you put serious effort into something, you get serious results. Plus Time Lost is a pretty epic loot in my opinion...JUST SAYIN! =P
My most memorable time in wow history was millhouse manastorm speech in alc back during BC it was funny the first time you watch it and how it played out
Not sure if i'm still in time to enter, but just for case:My favorite moment was my day of über gnomish pwnage!I was near the furbolg village and cave in Winterspring, with a quest to bring down some fluffy elite in there, when I met a tankadin I had grouped a few times with. I was level 54 and he was 56.Since he was on the same quest, we teamed up to bring that 59+ guy down... but we got surprised by his two lvl58 adds. After a few seconds, both adds were on the pally, but the big guy was taking on me. So I chained my stuns as much as I could, then used blind + bandage when I was close to dying (it was still at 80% health or so) and kept fighting... by ~65% he already had me quite low on health again, thus I had to pop out my gnomish mechanical chicken and Vanished so it would take the aggro. I was out of combat, so I took the chance to have a snack while /cheer'ing my chicken. After regaining some health, and just by the time the chicken would enrage, I stealthed and went in with cheapshot, some combo points, gouge, and kidney shot; popped out my dragonling, and burned all my offensive cooldowns. That guy was around ~20 or 30% health when he finnished off the chicken and turned back on me, so I went with evasion and all-out to finnish him off at ~300 health. After that, I was able to bandage again, and sprinted towards my friend to deal with the two adds (he was enduring quite well, but couldn't put out too much damage). Without drawing aggro from them, I could steadily bring their health bars down and eventually the fight was over. The pally was convinced that some level70 (it was the early TBC days) had stepped in and helped us. He wouldn't believe that I had downed it myself until (1h cd later) I dueled him and sent him my two lvl78 pets (that was the scaling for my 375+15 engineering) as a "proof of concept".It took everything I had (even some thistle tea and potions), but as a lvl54 gnome (which was my first character) I soloed that 59 elite :D Gnomish pwnage at its finest!
My favourite moment in WoW is probably the time my first tauren character reached the Ahab Wheathoof npc and completed his quest. I had completed the "Alicia's Poem" on my Nelf main and found a reference in the Wowhead notes to Ahab Wheathoof, so I felt I had to check it out then make a hordie to allow me to do the hordeside equivalent. I'm not ashamed to say I finished the quest barely able to see the screen for tears and to this day, whenever I tell anyone the story of the npc and quest, it still brings a lump to my throat. To any player that considers themselves a human being with a heart I would say this - anytime you're near Mulgore, pop over to Bloodhoof Village and /bow, /salute or /wave to Ahab beside the bridge and help keep the kid's memory alive. It makes all the grinding, all the wipes and all the other frustrations in the game and life generally worthwhile.
My favorite memory was back in vanilla as well. I went to the deserts of Tanaris with my discipline priest long before I should have been there and was exploring and waiting to get agro that would cost me all my hard earned gold in repair bills. The anxiety and thrill of "what am I doing here" was immense.
my favorite moment in wow was when i downed the lich king. it was our first go with the guild, and i usaly dont raid that mutch so it was a blast to be a part of it.
My favourite memory: When I installed the game and first logged in. It was a wondeful feeling. :)
