Just a quick question: if I make my client remember my e-mail, and I only have to type in my password, they won't be able to get my e-mail right? Because I don't write it down just once, and they can't do much with the password only.
They could alleviate a lot of concerns people have with running the client by allowing the manual upload of AddOn data that gets collected via the web site.It could still be processed through whatever validation checks the client uses to ensure its integrity, but without the need to run a third party executable file on your computer.Still need a WowHead account? Check.Still need the WowHead AddOn? Check.Need to run a third party executable? Nope.I'm not making any statement regarding the client's trustworthiness, just offering an alternative method that might drastically improve the amount of data WowHead would collect from wary and caution users. Especially now that focus is so security related, it is in their best interest to add another option.Just my opinion.
Peeps thinking wowhead is stealing your account Is like those parents thinking blizzard will take their credit card information.
