My most epic loot was definitely Atiesh. After months and months of farming the splinters, farming the rep and doing the chain, I finally got my Atiesh (as well as my 9/9 T3). Definitely my most epic piece of loot.
On the very last day of Hallow's End, in the one of the last few hours before the event went away, I managed to get myself the Sinister Squashling from Trick-or-Treating, earning me the achievement that I thought for certain I wouldn't get.
I was farming for flame sacs pre-bc and logged off for the day. When I logged back on to go do an instance, i killed a few green drakes and got a green whelping. What was funny was that last night a guildy of mine was showing off his new drake he got from hours of farming and I just happened to have gotten one while he was gloating.
The time i got Snarly's Bucket was pretty epic. I love fishing and hes my lucky fishing pet :D
Everytime I win one of the new JC recipes in the heroics i've been running I consider it pretty epic:)

My most "epic" loot ever received has to be the WOTLK expansion pack. Before its release I was starting to lose faith in Blizzard and I wasn't really a huge fan of the high fantasy. Now that WoW has returned to more of a gothic fantasy style and with the release of the new Mage spells I'm ready to chase Arthas to the end of the world.
My most epic lewtz would have to be Shadowfang from Shadowfang Keep (it is an extremely rare sword which is sought after by many level 19 twinks). I had heard of people farming Shadowfang Keep for days and never finding it, some people said it was nearly impossible to get it. Different story with me, I was very bored one night on my level 70 rogue and decided to do a run through Shadowfang Keep, for the nostalgia, was not expecting it to drop at all. I ended up selling it to a twink for 2000 gold. It was truly, truly, epic.
Yes I am boring.Back in vanilla wow I was questing over in Felwood and out of the blue Glowing Brightwood Staff dropped for me. I didn't even see it at first as I had autoloot on. I just happened to glance at my chat window window and was like wtf is with the purple text! I couldn't use it myself but I happened to have a good warlock friend that could . We miss you Kanubee!
My mishmash of epic plate mail and cloth got me through most of the endgame content in TBC, so I'm thankful for that.
The most epic drop I got has to be Fiery Warhorse's Reins. I was with a guild that ran Kara every week and we never saw them drop for months. By time they dropped we where on a roll for loot, looting system because we really where only doing Kara for badges at that point. When the Reins dropped The first person rolled a 99 to get them. Everyone thought it was a lost cause to roll, but everyone did anyways. I rolled near the end and wasnt even paying attention untill people started yelling in vent that I was a lucky................. I look down and sure enough I rolled a 100. I was so happy.
