The most epic drop was when I spent hours putting together an amazing group for BT. When we finally killed Illidan, I was lucky enough to get the Offhand Warglaive of Azzinoth! I was so happy!

One of my most epic memories from WoW was while leveling my second rogue. I was 59 or 60 and doing an Alterac Valley with rather uneven teams... I think it was 30 horde to 17 alliance or something similar, there was 1 alliance that stood out though. A level 60 paladin glowing in all gold gear and a giant 2-hand sword named 'Quanhoe'. Me and a few others had died and were taken back to Iceblood Graveyard. As we ran back, I happened to spot the paladin heading straight for us, I thought to myself "He is so screwed" and as if he heard my thoughts and wanted to taunt me he unmounts, throws down consecration and slams his sword into the ground yelling "YOU SHALL NOT PASS". At least that's how I saw it in my mind after he rocked us. All of us came up on him throwing everything we had at him but it was all for not. It was like Rambo was possessing him, one after another he dropped my companions until I was the only one left, I blinded, I vanished, I stunned and sprinted but it was all to no avail. He brought Justice down upon me and left my corpse laying in that empty field.I don't think this even begins to give it justice, it was one of the most amazing battle scenes I have ever bared witness to in WoW and I imagine it will stay up there for ages to come.
I remember also getting my Earthwarden made me run CE instances for some weeks...
My buddy was runnin me thru ZF....so loot was on free for all, ya know him being 70 and whatnot already.Well after he cleared a section I would loot the bodies.....and what do you know, to my surprise I see a purple item, Underworld Band. Sexy it was!
When after 13 weeks of waiting, the Warrior token finally dropped from Prince in Kara. I replaced my last blue item that night. :)
On my warrior, I got the Azure whelping on my SECOND kill; I thought it was going to take hours on end!Very good because I am a huge pet collector in WoW. :)
Ok, so i have been 80 for a few days now, and someone was looking for DPS for H-Violet Hold, so naturally i said i'd go. When we got to the first boss we were all angered to see it was icharon. But with some nice saves and a Battle res from our healer, we downed the watery boss. later in the dungeon we wiped and groaned as we knew we had to kill an NPC that took Icharon's place without dropping any loot. So we finally get to the lootless npc, but to our surprise the thing glitched and icharon spawned with 3k hp when the filler npc's bubble popped. So through out the fight icharon kept popping back up, which was awesome because she dropped a badge and the robes everytime. But the part i thought was the best was when the group got the Dehydration achievment. All in all, we got 5 badges from it and an achievement.
In Stranglethorn Vale, I was leveling my mage, and my Warrior Friend (Rym) and my Rogue friend (Shir) were en route, because this was before STV was anything but a huge headache for alliance.Rym arrives first, and we start killing mobs, while waiting for Shir. Rym topples a monster, and goes to loot it. ...Merry Christmas ...?I ended up getting it, and equipping it immediately. That is not, however, the epic part of it. Shir joins us a few minutes later, and all of us begin carving our way through monsters to do the STV questsAnd fifteen minutes later, a second Staff of Jordan drops. Two purple world drops in 15 minutes.(Rym got that SoJ for his mage alt)
I actually have been playing WoW since it started and I still have to say the most epic piece of loot was my flute of Piccollo. I tried so long at lvl 60 to get it from Strat and finally it dropped.I love that flute! That and feast and the keg.. Lets throw a party!
