999,999 gold bid for Smouldering Egg? I'm a huge mount collector, but sorry, I wouldn't pay that. I don't know who would. Maybe someone with 5 alts who all have a million gold. In that case, they're pretty damn lucky they don't have a life.
I'm sorry to say this, but this is really, really boring, i mean you farm for a mount! That's the beauty of it, if you just buy it of AH through buying gold or anything like that where's the challange? Farming gold isn't hard you just need some patiente and you need to know how to farm AH.In conclusion, i hate this idea and i think it destroyes a big part of the game.

It's beta. There's no way to no if the list is complete or accurate.
another horrible idea that will bring the game down even more. Blizzard just lost their touch. selling mounts that are drops that kills the feel of warcraft... the more i see in MoP the more i am being turned away from playing this game..
This is the best idea I have seen for WOW since vanilla.
I find this addition kinda weak personally. I mean you spend so much time over the years farming for these rare items and a gold farmer can just come to the Black Market and get it in a matter of seconds. Makes everything less epic or special. Not to mention the noobsauce folks that buy gold can get everything they want now with little to no work. I find it appalling that Blizzard wants to the force players to farm gold in order to get items. I thought the game was about grouping up and doing epic quests, etc. Not having a day job on a video game just to get an item. That takes the fun out of the game. My 2 cents.
I'm aware. You obviously missed the point I was trying to make.
Blizzard isn't forcing anyone to do anything. If you don't like the BMAH, you don't have to use it. You can still raid and all that to get gear. If you want that special mount, you can still grind for it. Or if you have the gold you can try to buy it. For some people, they rather make gold and spend it on the mount. Some people have hundreds of thousands of gold that they don't do anything with. Believe it or not, some people actually like to make gold in video games. It isn't just WoW, I know people that would do the same thing in RuneScape. They would play their version of the AH and buy tons of rare items and hold on to them hoping they would rise in price. I'm sure other players do the same thing in other video games. And something else to think about. You won't know if someone either bought the mount or they got it from grinding it unless they tell you "Hey I just bought this". The mounts will be the same as any other.
With Gold Farmers/Sellers, I doubt ANYONE in their right mind will buy the services if they know the risks associated. That rules out Gold Farmers/Sellers entirely.
Do you think it's a possibility that they'll put Archaeology mounts up for sale as well?
