I wonder if it has to do with the fact that I do not have a Zam account? I've an account on wowhead, only.I confirmed that I can't log into the other two sites since I've no accounts established with them. But I do have an account here and have paid for the year. The payment acknowledgement did have my correct account name (for wowhead), but without a Zam account... /shrug
UrCure it might not have been processed yet since the paypal upgrades need to be processed by hand and there is only 1 person processing the paypal ones
Received email on the 22nd:
Internal communications snafu. We're still getting used to the process. Should be sorted out shortly!

As a webmaster for another site (non-game-related) that has tiers of subscribers, I know the financial realities of the situation, that lead to such decisions. There are no clear paths, and be it from a need to pay for bandwidth, or fund the next generation of coolness, there will always be dissenting opinions. The only thing Wowhead can or should do, is what they ARE doing with this very thread.Listen to the users. If you cull the chaff from the wheat, and draw conclusions based on a large sample size (this is page 21 per my browser) then you can begin to get a sense of the 'voice of the customer' and what they want in the majority. For my own perspective, ad-blocking is not truly a feature anymore. People who do not want to see them, block them on their own, and FAR more capably than Owners think (or really want them to be able to). They are present really just to pick up some small change from the bulk of customers who do not wish (or wish to be bothered) to block them. They are a small but vital revenue stream to a community or fan site though, and do not mistake it.Anyway, I find this site invaluable (been playing for 7 months now) and far more ideal to search and peruse than Thott or wowwiki or a few others. This is my number one resource for the game, and it is usually the community that makes it so. The quest/item/effect comments are organized and smart, and have helped me immeasurably. So long as they remain free, I can rely on a high rate of updates and really smart commentary, and will make this a permanent resource for me. Limiting the user interaction behind a tier will damage that value.A pity there cannot be alternative ways to 'contribute' to the site. I suggest you find some silly one-off purchases that the user community can make (please no avatar bling though, I've found it to be useless and hard to market) so we can support this site without making a regular commitment. I apologize if there is a single-month option, I have not located it yet.Anyway, great site!

Here we go. Premium!
I've provided my explanation many times on the previous pages. Such concerns are folly. You've had probably every single Staff member (paid or not) telling that it is not our plans to match those concerns. Yet, apparently, you - users with no internal information regarding Wowhead's course of action - are pretty certain that we will fail you nonetheless. Because some other websites have.I am this close to snapping at all those prophets of doom. And I was just recently told to be careful what I say. So this short paragraph is the revised version of what I originally had. Just a thought to keep in mind.
