The restoration malorne set is really great, without even mentioning the stats, healing bonus and mana regen. Add Living Spirit talent and a tree form aura, and you are a great party healer.

While it wouldn't be so good in 40-men instances, in 5 it's really awesome. I'm not sure how will it work in 10 or 25 men instances, but I it seems it will be good as well.

Just some quick math about the 2 piece set bonus (25% proc rate according to wowhead)...

Assuming that you are chain casting healing touches, every 3 seconds, you get one proc every 12 seconds (4 heals). 120 mana every 12 seconds is the same as 50 mp5.

Instead of healing touches, if you spammed an instant-cast HoT (lifebloom or rejuv) every global cooldown, you'd get a proc every 6 seconds on average. 120 mana every 6 seconds is 100 mp5.

Again, this is assuming that you're chain casting, no downtime in between heals and no spell cancelling. You can scale this down to a lower number based on your own casting duty cycle (technical phrase, sorry).

As a sidenote, the set doesn't actually look like as seen on the pic. The leg-piece isn't a kilt but pants, and the gloves are more chubby.

I have found that the 2 set procs often for me, about 15% or more...more so than when I first got it. Secret Hotfix imo!! :)

I love the upgrade in this next patch of the set ^_^ Very very solid.

In my helm I put the +26 healing/2% threat reduction meta gem...the requirements for activation are annoying, so I don't have the shoulder socket bonus, but overall...I could sacrifice +3 spi...taking all of my other gear into consideration.

Gotta love the set bonuses. However its not fair that http://www.wowhead.com/?itemset=639(Malorne Regalia for Boomkins) Has the -48 seconds on the Innervate whatdafxup with that huh? Although the +chance to restore mana and the -24 seconds on Nature's Swiftness is nice too I guess. What is everybody else's take on this?

I just measured the proc rate for the balance druid Malorne Regalia 2 piece bonus at about 5%. I'm guessing the 2 piece set bonus works identically between the two sets, sounds like it from the comments here.

Did a little testing of my own after getting this, there is no internal cooldown on the proc of the two-piece set bonus, as I was spamming lifeblooms and got it to proc two times in a row, given lifebloom is an instant with the global one second cooldown. As far as percentage goes, I would have to say it's about a 5% chance to go off. I get the 120 mana proc a lot more often than my insightful earthstorm diamond proc, which is 2%, but it is no where close to being once in ten casts, or, 10%.

The two-piece set bonus is kind of misleading if you ask me.

this is one of the variations of the tier 4 set for druids.

The tier 4 tokens are found in Karazhan (a 10 man instance with a lengthy attunement). Gruuls lair (a 25 man with no attunement) And Magtheridons lair (also a 25 man with no attunement).

Helm of the Fallen ___ (Head): Prince Malchezaar, Karazhan
Pauldrons of the Fallen ___ (Shoulders): High King Maulgar, Gruul's Lair
Chestguard of the Fallen ___ (Chest): Magtheridon, Magtheridon's Lair
Gloves of the Fallen ___ (Hands): The Curator, Karazhan
Leggings of the Fallen ___ (Legs): Gruul the Dragonkiller, Gruul's Lair

Here is a list of who needs which kind of token:

___ of the Fallen Champion: Paladins, Rogues, Shamans
___ of the Fallen Defender: Druids, Priests, Warriors
___ of the Fallen Hero: Hunters, Mages, Warlocks

once you have an appropriate "token" you can cash them at either the aldor or scryers tier. (it depends which one likes you and wont attack you)

Athough the idea of having a T4 set may be appealing the set is not that great for healers. Swiftness is much more an arena ability and there are so much better items that it seems as a waste to equip 4 lower items t get that set bonus. (Blizz seems to think druids are stong enough all set bonusses suk) Anyway grab it if u can but i must say i have 3 of the malorne set and i do prefer other items.

I've not seen the 2 set bonus proc at all since new patch. It might be just me or the addon or my filter but... I still get the Meta gem mana restore. Anyone else been having the issue?

Anyone knows a good looking tabard for this set? if not i just won't eqquip 1 buth it covers half of my uglly looking tauren legs :D

Tier 4 set (lvl 70) . You can obtain these items from Arodis Sunblade if you are friendly with The Scryers , or from Asuur whitch is member of The Aldor. You need appropriate token to purchase these items.
