1) All ring enchantments make "Bind when Equipped" rings Soulbound.
2) All ring enchantments are enchanters only. You can't sell ring enchantments in any form (Formulas are "Bind on Pickup", Rings become soul bounded, and can not be traded within the trade screen.
3) Requires a level 35 (or higher) Ring.

Enchant Ring - Weapon Might (Enchant Ring - Striking): If you're a rogue or a druid you can sneak past the mobs inside Karazhan - only if the instance has been clean of most mobs. On the second story, there's a group of stealth seeing mobs. I piggy-backed on a friend's saved instance and got the formula ... after getting lost for an hour.

Acording to my own calculations its worth 11ap with 2,7speed wep. And i hope thats not correct (and i doubt it is), if it is, this enchant realy isnt worth the trouble.

Ythyar is, as his NPC listing says, in Karazhan - just to the right of the door leading to the chess event (past all the trash for Illhoof, Aran and Netherspite.)

To return trash free, you need to kill all three bosses.

The damage per second (DPS) this adds to a weapon is the 2 damage divided by the weapon speed of your weapon. It normally takes 14 attack power (AP) to add 1 DPS to your weapon.

To calculate the attack AP this enchant is worth, take the 2 weapon damage, divide it by the weapon speed of your weapon, and multiply it by 14.

Examples:
1.0 speed (cat druid): 2 / 1.0 * 14 = 28 AP
1.6 speed (tank weapon): 2 / 1.6 * 14 = 17.5 AP
1.8 speed (dagger rogue): 2 / 1.8 * 14 = 15.56 AP
2.5 speed (bear druid): 2 / 2.5 * 14 = 11.2 AP
2.6 speed (sinister strike rogue): 2 / 2.6 * 14 = 10.77 AP
3.6 speed (mortal strike warrior): 2 / 3.6 * 14 = 7.77 AP

On two rings this can offer a significant boost that no non-enchanters can obtain. However in many cases it is not quite as good as actual attack power, strength or agility. Any special abilities or buffs that depend on attack power or stats do not benefit from it (bloodthirst, shamanistic rage, unleashed rage, blessing of kings, heart of the wild, vitality, and many more.)

For rogues, I'd suggest this over the +4allstats enchant, especially dagger rogues can benefit from this quite a lot, and if you're Mutilate specced, this will really shine. Note that Mutilate counts as two attacks, both hits SHOULD get a +4 damage boost (assuming you take the enchant on both of your rings). Meaning that every mutilate gets a nice boost of +8 damage (not sure if the offhand +weapon damage is lowered), and crits gain an extra 16 (17-18 with leathality). It really can't be bad.

So mathematicaly which adds more AP to a rogue ? the enchant with the (stats) or the enchant with the (striking)? what do you think is better for a pve rogue?

You WILL LOSE any ring enchant if you drop enchanting. It goes red and says "enchanting 350 required". idk what patch this was applied but today I found out the expensive way :P

Sadly, there is no point in trying to learn this enchant anymore as you are unable to enchant rings as an enchanter/enchantress. I'm not sure why this item is still obtainable from Ythyar when it is only a grey item and cannot be used. Though, I could pose the same question to the other multiple grey items that may be purchased from vendors.

Lesson learned the hard way, this is considered "JUNK" and will be sold if you have autosell addon turned on... SO, if you are working on the Waist Of Time.... Do Not Open A Merchant, or be sure to buy it back if it was sold.

As of patch 10.0.7 Ythyar is still selling this item needed for Waist of Time. He is in Karazan (the raid), not Return to Karazan (the dungeon).

For folks unfamiliar with Karazan:

The names of sections on your main map's dropdown are sometimes different than the title on the minimap. I will be calling areas out using the name that appears on the main map, not the minimap.
The raid entrance is in Deadwind Pass, E. Kingdoms, at the ground level of the main tower, not at the end of the bridge connecting the main tower to a smaller tower. The latter is the dungeon entrance. Khadgar, Karlain, and Darius are standing right in front of the raid gate. Click the gold cogwheel to lift the gate, enter, then click the Gatehouse Door. You are now in the Servant's Quarters. Go up the stairs where Berthold is standing toward the gold trimmed pillars.
Follow the Banquet Hall map to Moroes. You must kill him to proceed through the raid.
After Moroes, go up the the set of stairs toward The Grand Ballroom on your map.
Go straight at the top of the stairs, through the archway and columns into the Opera Hall in the Guest Chambers section of the map. Turn right after the 6 steps up, follow the curved wall to a small archway, take the ramp down under the stage, then the ramp up to the backstage area. Stay on that level and talk to Barnes. Tell him you aren't an actor and that you'll give it a try. The door opens and The Opera Hall event/boss starts. Kill the boss. The door on the opposite side of the stage will open, go through it and up the ramp. You are now on the other side of the opera hall. Follow the curved wall to the ramp and go up. You are now on the top level of the opera hall. Turn left.
Follow the Master's Terrace map to the broken-up curved ramp going up to the left (to the north on the map, not the green path). This will take you through a small arch outside. Follow map through Lower Broken Stair and Upper Broken Stair to The Menagerie.
Kill the Curator in The Menagerie. You can see Ythyar's repair symbol above you at this point.
Go down the ramp and up the other curved ramp on the other side of the room, then straight through the round room and up the ramp.
Follow the map through The Guardian's Library skipping the hall to Shade of Aran.
Follow map through Upper Library. Go down the ramp, not up, after the round room with the Ethereal Thiefs in it.
Keep following the Upper Library map to the end and Ythyar will be in a room with double archways. He's standing on the right while the Gamesmen's Hall Door is straight or slightly left depending on which arch you walk through.
