to get a felguard you have to go deep into the demo tree and to do that you give up a LOT of really good talents. the question you have to ask is, is it worth it?
most of the time, in PVE, it isn't. raiding with a felguard is so dependant on it surviving that either it dies and your damage drops or you have to concentrate on keeping it alive or out of trouble, meaning you're not concentrating on damage.
this isn't always the case but the difficulties that come with the felguard, along with the benefits from using an imp or sacrificing a succubus mean that most serious PVEers don't use a felguard.
personally i am destro specced so if i were to go demo and get a FG i would have to ask myself, are there enough benefits to outweigh Ruin, SnF and 15% from succy sac.
the answer is a resounding NO.
well, i really didn't understand the question but i think this is an answer for what you're saying. (why doesn't everyone use a felguard?)
