Grind kill exp is slow compared to running dungeons or questing. If your purpose is to level, go and quest in Nagrand or run the BC dungeons.

I don't now about that since I also played death knight took my level 85 to isle island and max leveled it there to 90 also took my alt level 90 just healed bot add-on used.
But I can say once you hit level 87 you can go there its quick mass agro killing turtles.
As of now I found Nagrand Ancestral Grounds area 26,60 killing Orc Spirits can pull 6+per pull if you pull them to you with ranged getting 1k exp per kill.
I'm sure theres more better spots out there where the mobs are close by :P

Haven't tested and not a monk, Just a tank for many years who knows that grinding mobs is a slow way to level.
However, unless you wish to dismiss my advice due to your irrelevant criteria the I'm going to say;.
Nagrand, Laughing Skull Ruins or Burning Blade Ruins, Killing the Ogres there, all are relatively close for mass pulls and the areas are large enough that they start to respawn again before you've cleared it.
(Also good for Warbead grinding for Rep.)

I have to chime in on this. As a long time MMO player and someone who has leveled many toons to cap. Mass pulling is by far the SLOWEST way to level in wow. If you are looking for quick leveling, use the following strat.
Quest. As soon as the quests in a zone turn yellow, move to the next zone if possible.
Do each dungeon 1 time (when it is orange) to get the quests in it complete.
Make sure you always log out in an inn or major city for rested.
Level 3-4 characters at once so you are always playing a toon with max rested experience.
(I did a toon for each day of the week. Excluding weekends.)
I have gotten 8 toons to 90 in less than 2 days played (doing /played) using this strat.

Just solo Hellfire Ramparts. Good exp to 68.
Then move to Northrend and solo Nexus at 68.
EXP is fast, and you can start soloing Ramps at 58 if you know your class.
Mass pulling is slow, soloing instances is fast- You can do 58-68 in about 3-5 hours in Ramps, depending on how fast you pull.
I've done it on a Prot Paladin and a Blood DK, I know people that have done it on a BM monk and Prot Warrior, never tried on a Guardian Druid, but they should be fine.
