Hey Guys
At the moment I have a Prismatic Prism of Pride (Flex) and a Dysmorphic Samophlange (LFR).
Now I got Nazgrims Burnished Insignia yesterday in Flex.
Since the Prism is kind of a no brainer I wonder whether the Burnished Insignia (Flex) would really be an update over the Dysmorphic Samophlange (LFR). I like the flat int buff of the Dysmorphic Samophlange and have no experience with the Burnished Insignia procs so far.
Maybe one of the experienced shamans here can provide some insight on this as I'm a little bit lost.
Generally I'm "ok" with my mana as we're only doing Flex (10 normal planned) so far.
Thank you!

Sorry for asking such a "sophisticated" question.
The clear favourites seem to be threads about crucial stuff like funny shaman names..
worth /pushing ?

Thanks a lot for your reply, Zakkhar.
(Yeah, I should have posted links. : /)
This is my armory link:
Click Me
Whats your spirit at? Are you running oom?
We're three healers at the moment (Holy Paladin, Holy Priest and myself).
I burn through my mana much faster than the other two and I'm oom when the fight ends while they're at 40%-50% mana. Reason behind I think is that we could handle Flex with two healers basically. We're more or less "competing" for the heals and I'm mostly rank 1 on overhealing because I just keep spamming at times.
I haven't upgraded much yet because I was unsure what to upgrade. But I'm VP capped now so I have to upgrade stuff (instead of waiting for better drops).
Regarding the trinket, I was thinking in a similar direction. (I also wasn't sure whether the int procs share an internal cooldown)
If you have some further insights regarding my armory it's highly welcome. :)
P.S.: Not so much of a change. :P

nothing wrong with your question, these forums are just pretty dead these days.
you already have the two best resto trinkets - the amp trinket (#1) and the blackfuse trinket (#2). as zakkhar said, the nazgrim trinket is easily the worst option this tier; i wouldn't use it at all. you should keep an eye out for thok's trinket, as it is very nice on stacked fights (and very bad on spread fights).
regarding your armory, i do have some feedback.
your spirit is fine - it's actually about the same as i have. you didn't say how big your flex raids are, but if you're competing with other healers to try and snipe the meters, you are almost certainly running too many. two good healers can handle a pretty big sized flex raid.
part of your OOM problem may be your riptide glyph. it significantly reduces your healing efficiency and your HPS, outside of very specific situations. i very much dislike this glyph, but some people swear by it.
you want to hit your desired haste breakpoint, but not go over by much. 5676 would give you an extra riptide tick, but you really want to shoot for 7613. you can get there if you gem/reforge for haste instead of mastery. you can even sacrifice a little spirit if you need to. keep in mind that you need to keep the AS talent and have someone providing the 5% haste raid buff for those breakpoints to be valid.
crit vs mastery... most every shaman will tell you to go crit, but i'm torn on this. i really, really like the idea of shaman mastery, and it would wonderful if it weren't for the fact that at the end of every tier, we get to the point where everyone is in danger of getting 1-shot if they dip below 80% hp. this tier is no different, which significantly reduces the value of shaman mastery when healing heroics. on flex, i think you have a lot more margin, so it might be decent. crit is good because of resurgence (mana return), and since so much of our healing is from HR and HST, the crit is mostly useful healing. it can also get you to a point where HS is almost always a crit. if i had to pick, i would reluctantly say crit > mastery.
how are you doing on the legendary quest? the meta is a huge mana savings.
you should learn to use the totemic recall glyph; also a large mana savings.
the 2-piece is really good - you should get it. unfortunately, it will show up on the meters as healing your tank did, rather than you. the 4-piece is meh.
consider the chain heal glyph on spread fights. it's really helpful and the 2s cooldown is not terrible
