Extend Trial Accounts?

Im not sure if I am the first one to ever bring this up, but I was thinking that it would be cool if blizzard extended some of the trial account restrictions. For example: You could level up to 60. Personally I think it would be cool to see, just because you would probably see people running the old vanilla raids, or bringing more spice into the 60-64 pvp. :p I don't know, do you guys think this would be awesome, or horrid?
Discuss :p

That would be an awesome thought however... I don't know if they should make a level restriction at all.
Case and point: Add a second month to the trial allow people to immerse themselves into the game and allow them to build up a substantially strong enough character and give them time to make friends and get to know the game.
Let them try to get toward the end game content. That would drag them screaming back for more with a subscription.

Been discussed hundreds of times before.

lolwut? You do realize that there is no time restraint on the trial or F2P accounts right? If you open the game up that far, the mentality becomes "What's the point of buying this? I am getting 2/3 of the game for free!"
And as Adamsm has said, this issue has been discussed repeatedly...to the point the horse it rode in on has been turned to glue and sold to school children.

The trial has a one month limit I do believe.
I am sure this topics has been talked about tons of times, so has many of the posts on this forum. :)
Some people like to own the game, not play the trial where there are restrictions. 2/3 of the game just isn't the whole game...
New players without the help of someone with little mmo exp won't complete close to 1/3 of the content in a months time.
I have played the trial in the past and most of us just aren't lifers to the point where we can play more then 2 hours a day.
I do not have the time to sit on the computer all day and level up to 90 in 3 weeks. That just isn't possible for most of us grown folk, or normal people in gen.
I find it funny people are even aloud to act like you do. ^_^ Get that giant stick out of your rear end. "lolwut?" I can already see a dumbfounded face... priceless.

No, there 1 month of free play is not the same as the trial account; that allows you to reach level 20 and is Free to Play.

Either way it just isn't possible to complete nearly 1/3 of the game with little to no exp. Blizzard wants to wow new blood not the people who have played already since they know exactly what they are paying for. Granted they implement newer things to sway the old players back the free trial and trial you get with the game are geared to new players.
I honestly think it's wrong when people are negative towards others ideas... it's childish and very immature.

And I think for ideas like this, where there have been dozens of posts before, shouldn't be; they should just bump up the old topics.
That being said: No. Just leave the game as it is. Let people get a taste from 1-20, since they have access to all of the races and all but DK's, and if they want more, they can pay the money for the entire thing.
Edit: Also, you see this type of thread every 2 weeks or so.

That's why we live in a free country everyone is entitled to their own OPINION.
Well I live in a free country I am not sure about you. I wouldn't want to go ahead and assume anything now would I?
On another note, thank you for adding to the post even if it wasn't intended that way. ^_^

And again, in the same vein: We all have our own opinion, and a large majority of us are sick and tired of seeing the same thread over and over and over again.

Not anymore it does not. Its unlimited, it lasts forever and ever. Or until you upgrade to full account status, at which point, all restrictions are lifted, but you need to pay up to play.
So the choice comes down to Unlimited time with limited features, or unlimited features with limited time. Quite a reasonable trade if you think about it.
I am sure this topics has been talked about tons of times, so has many of the posts on this forum. :)
So?
Some people like to own the game, not play the trial where there are restrictions. 2/3 of the game just isn't the whole game...
Here's a thought, if some people like to own the game, why don't they....... buy it? o_O
New players without the help of someone with little mmo exp won't complete close to 1/3 of the content in a months time.
Again, the trial is no longer limited. It used to be 7 days (rather than a month) and now its unlimited, it lasts forever.
I have played the trial in the past and most of us just aren't lifers to the point where we can play more then 2 hours a day.
That's a misuse of the term "Lifer"
A no-lifer is someone who spends the majority of their time online. A lifer is someone who does the exact opposite and barely logs on.
I do not have the time to sit on the computer all day and level up to 90 in 3 weeks. That just isn't possible for most of us grown folk, or normal people in gen.
And this has to do with lifting limitations in trial mode how?
I find it funny people are even aloud to act like you do. ^_^ Get that giant stick out of your rear end. "lolwut?" I can already see a dumbfounded face... priceless.
Attacking others will get you nowhere.
I honestly think it's wrong when people are negative towards others ideas... it's childish and very immature.
Lemme get this straight..... you are posting your opinions on a public forum, but any negative feedback is childish and immature. If you don't want people talking back, just post your thoughts on a private blog, and problem solved. If you seek feedback from others you need to be prepared to accept that some will agree and some will disagree. Calling those who don't see eye-to-eye with you "Childish and Immature" only makes YOU look bad.
That's why we live in a free country everyone is entitled to their own OPINION.
Now you seem to be mixing concepts, you are ENTITLED to your opinion, that doesn't mean everyone is forced to AGREE with it. As far as your opinion goes, you're allowed to have it, but not to shove it down everyone's throats. Exposing your point and accepting that some will agree with it and others wont is as far as your freedom goes. Going on a tangent because people are not agreeing with you is not part of the whole "freedom of speech" thingie.
On-topic: The main reason we're unlikely to ever see a lift in trial restrictions is because the current state of the trial does its job perfectly. A trial is meant to be just a sample, a demo, something to allow you to test the game and some of its features, in order to help you make an informed decision on whether to buy it or not. And the current trial does just that. You can experience Battlegrounds, Instances, 10 different starting zones, along with an extra 12 zones for good measure, on the revamped starting areas you get to see many of the game's big features in action, such as phasing, vehicular combat, voiced quests for the important moments, scripted sequences, and more.
You can sample the LFG tool, and even professions up to a point.
And you're given infinite time in the trial for you to take as long as you need to make up your mind on whether to buy or not. There is no real reason to add more. After lvl 20, you will either be interested enough to buy the game, or just go elsewhere for your MMO gaming needs.
