So I was thinking to myself of what events a guild could do that would be fair, challenging and especially quite fun as a whole. I have some ideas and I would like to share one and hear some from you guys. They can be extensively planned out or simple things.
Mine:
Naked (sort of) Battlegrounds
The rules are simple, no gear of any kind equipped other than a weapon with an ilvl of 463 or less. Flasks, potions, or other types of consumable buffs are also not allowed.
From there you would have to assemble your guild into various groups and do War Games of your choosing. The fact that Blizzard added War Games to the game makes this all possible.
The reasoning behind weapons and only weapons being allowed is I think Melee would suffer severely without them in this game type. I have yet to try this one so the rules are not final nor set in stone. Likely further steps would need to be taken to make it more melee friendly.
Non-stat supplying clothing would be fine, like some of the holiday outfits and the like.So there is mine, let's see what you guys have in those expansive minds of yours.

Okay, here's an idea I was thinking on my own guild.
Continent Run
Simple. Start in either Booty bay or at Ahn'Quirai gates, then run to Silvermoon/Moonglade.
Alliance easiest on Kalimdor I guess, since Silvermoon/Tirisfal are horde controlled.
Rules: Only running. No flying mounts. Ground mounts allowed if everyone have the same speed, otherwise no ground mounts either. Speed-abilities allowed, such as Roll, Sprint, Aspect or what have you, but no outside buffs from pots or the like. Waterwalking allowed in Thousand needles, but nowhere else. No mage portals or Teleport: Moonglade/Death Gate. If running, no boot enchants.
Of course, someone flying above making sure rules are followed. First to a preselected spot wins.
Edit: And of course, no spirit rezzing if you happen to die.
