Bag Space!

A solution for me would be to create a Chest/Wardrobe that's held within your House on your Farm. Perhaps this can be bought once a player reaches Exalted with the Tillers and /or exalted with all the "Friends of the Farm". This chest could be configured the same way a Guild Bank is done, being able to buy tabs for an ever increasing price. Perhaps this could be restricted to only holding Soulbound items, or only holding Materials, or maybe have each tab pre-designated for a particular type of item, such as Tabards, Mats, Vanity Items, Soulbound Weapons, Soulbound Armour etc.
It would be a good goldsink for Blizz and would provide extra space for us. Also, you could link it to a questline, even have a different quest for each tab, pertaining to the type of tab you want: e.g. For the Tabard Tab, you have to collect 25 tabards, or for the Weapon Tab, you have to collect a certain Transmog Weapon from an old raid or Dungeon and so on.
The mechanics are there to implement this, it just needs some time and effort spent in order to create it.
Failing that, another idea would be to have an online storage space (most of use use some form of online storage these days like Cloud etc). This could either be bought from the Blizz store, or for an added monthly subscription, say £0.50p added to the normal subscription. Again, the Tech is there for Online storage to be created, however linking it to an in-game database would be the real trick!

I've been complaining about bag space for years, and now with transmog and the plethora of vanity items, it gets frustrating. I agree with a closet for tabards (I just deleted all mine that I could purchase again because I needed the room) and more room for transmog. They need to also make some sort of toybox for vanity items; I have 5 rows in my bank and 3 rows in my bags just for vanity stuff.

Same here about asking for more bag space, since getting really spoiled with *640* slots that stack 200 mats each in EQ2.
Main thing needed is a gear locker, especially if you PvE+PvP with 2 specs (that's 4 sets of gear). Sole purpose is to hold upto 4 sets of gear (a mobile void storage), so bags can hold flasks/pots; quest items (seen in Timeless) and your stock of other essentials.

My warrior is a weapons hoarder, even though I only ever use up to 5 of them... the only alt with a full Void Storage.

Over the years I have had to delete many things that I'm sure will never be seen again. My bank, Void storage, and on character bags are almost completely full of crap I've " Horde'd" over the years. I beg and plead for more storage space.

I would be more than happy with just 5 or 6 more tabs in my Void Storage. My poor Warrior has over 40 slots in her personal bank of JUST weapons - not even counting the gear. I've had to delete some things I very much wish I could have held onto. It's discouraging, and I've actually stopped hunting for different transmog sets now because I have nowhere left to put them.

There is an interesting article,
Inventory fixes being worked on
from WoW Insider regarding this.
I personally hope that the
proposed fix as noted by Bashiok
We've talked a bit more about our plans in recent interviews. We're working on some ideas to get things like tabards and heirlooms out of inventory slots, as well as "toy-like" items, in a way that's similar to pets and mounts. Soooooo, yup!
is implemented faster than the typical
SOON (tm)

I agree, a place to put miscellaneous items like tabards and vanity items similar to a companion tab would be great, that way I could actually have bank and bag space.

We don't need more inventory space. What we need is less garbage with obscure or obsolete uses. I have one character with a full seven bank tabs of Spirits of Fire and Furry Jormungar Teeth and Unidentifiable Murloc Entrails and Ticking Goblin Gizmos and God knows what else, and I have no idea what the hell it's all for.

I've tried to deal with storage issues by sending all non-soulbound turn in items to one banker, all account bound items to another banker, keeping crafting mats in a vanity GB and trying to be very very particular about what I collect for transmog.
It still doesn't help much.
Sometimes I get so depressed about lack of storage space that I feel like the game is becoming more about inventory management and less about play.
