With druids getting a 4th spec because feral had too many features, other classes seem to want a 4th spec as well, some with rather obivous and some with more random ideas.
I'll add total ideas and a little bit of +1 or -1 to the popularity.
If you have one, i'll add it to the list.
Death Knight:
Potential healing spec
Spec focused on undead as opposed to plagues (Splitting unholy in two)
Hunter:
60 range spec
Pet-based tank
Mage:
N/A
Monk:
N/A
Paladin
Shockadin or other ranged dps spec.
Priest:
Holy damage dps
A third healing spec
Rogue:
N/A
Shaman
Tank
Spec focused on totems
Warlock
Necromancer
Warrior
N/A

NO...just no.
The only reason that druid received the 4th spec was because feral/guardian was too much to put into one tree and you only changed like 6 point allocation in the old tree style to turn a kitty into a bear. No other class had anything like that so there is no need to add a 4th.

One new spec for 10 classes is much more work than a new class, but the latter would cause a much larger and better publicity effect.
So, a new class is much more likely than a fourth spec for all classes.
Splitting Feral and Guardian was mostly a technical challenge, without more game design effort than the other specs received for their MoP overhaul.

Hunter: Melee specc, bring back the raptor strike, the mongoose bite, wing clip and counterattack
Rogue: Axe thrower/javelin thrower, like the good ole axe throwing trolls. A ranged/melee hybrid.
paladin: healing/dps-hybrid specc who does two roles in one... but tuned below ret as dmg and below holy as healer
warrior: a sword and board dps/tank hybrid specc. Stronger dps than prot, but weaker than arms and fury, weaker tank than prot but stronger than arms and fury

That just really doesn't make any sense. "Here, be a tank but not good enough to be a tank, but still be a DPS but not be good enough to be DPS."
As a warrior, I'd like them to implement the third spec just so I don't have to keep switching talents around for PVP and PVE.

They've stated that they are not going to add a fourth spec to the other classes, and the only reason they did so for druids is because the other alternative was to either remove their tanking, or remove their melee DPS. They didn't liked one tree being able to do both.
They've said multiple times that adding a fourth spec to the rest of the classes would be triple the work, and triple the balancing nightmare than just adding a new class, and its not something they're willing to add unless absolutely necessary.
paladin: healing/dps-hybrid specc who does two roles in one... but tuned below ret as dmg and below holy as healer

What would be the point of this? it would be the most underplayed specs in the game. A bunch of effort for nothing. As Rys said, who'd play that? Ohhh hey, get this new pally spec, you can damage and heal...... except your damage will suck....... and your healing too.
Ohhh here's a new tank spec, you can now tank and DPS at the same time........ except your tanking will suck....... as will your DPS.
They've tried the "jack of all trades/master of none" approach in the past, and it failed spectacularly during vanilla and TBC, so now everyone has one specialized niche, with other functions significantly below the bar (Ret pallys deal strong damage, and have a very minor healing capacity, certainly nowhere near enough to be main healers in any group, just to give an example)

So you want a hunter that is a rogue and a rogue that is a hunter....../facepalm

I kinda liked that approach:) In our tbc- raids i had to be both OT and dps on my warrior which was lots of fun in one ...wierd prot specc, and we also had a ret as third healer/dps hybrid who where awesome.

Adding a fourth spec to druids was a mistake.
