Battle Pet abbreviation help

I've seen comment postings with something like " known breeds are: B/B, H/H". The tool tip on the info page for battle pets lists something like "Breed: #8 P/S". The Wowhead tool tip looks to be large enough to accommodate the actual information instead of abbreviations. Where can I find a list of what the x/x abbreviations are?

There is a guide floating around here somewhere, and I know
Warcraftpets
has that information too....it focuses specifically on pets!

So on a battle pet page, that part with the level and slider and breed info isn't a tooltip, it's a stat tool. If you visit a page like
Aqua Strider
, it's a rare drop that only comes in one breed, but something like
Crimson Geode
comes in four breeds.
I don't think the letter notation is intuitive for everyone new to pet battling, so we've added percentages and stat icons to show what each breed does. Using the example above, Breed 6 H/H is tied to the 100% heart button--it has a big health pool. Breed 9 H/S shows a button with heart and speed icons--it has minor boosts to both those stats. And so on.
Our Battle Pet Team Calc also shows percentages/graphics when mousing over a pet's breed, like

Oh, o.k. that makes more sense to me now. There's still a ton of info on pets that I have yet to get a handle on. Thanks to everyone for their input.

Every pet has two ´gem´ slots. They can have (H)ealth, (S)speed, (P)ower or (B)alanced gems in those slots. Each pet type has limits on what breeds it can be.
To note. Balanced gems have mixed stats, but the sum of those mixed stats is less than a pure gem... so for most pets, they are inferior.
