I am going to say the first time I went into the ssc dungeon hub in Zangar. I thought the whole underwater passage was really awesome. I just hated the huge hike from the gy back to those dungeons after a wipe.

Flying for the first time. That was the slow-as-pushing-molasses-up-a-sandy-hill flying, slower than a fast ground mount. But becoming a bird and flying about when I'd been bound to the ground almost indefinitely... That was good.

My first healing spell, it's insanely fun to just slowly plough through a group quest just healing yourself over and over.

For me,it was the very first time I saw stormwind.I didn't know anything about WoW when I first started. Then to suddenly see this huge place in the distance, getting larger and larger as I approached. It really was an omfg moment.

The first zeplin ride to the undercity from Org.. I was expecting EverQuest style travel, so having it happen so fast was so awesome.
But everything in wow was really cool the first time I did it, and the vast majority is still really cool ther umpteenth time I do it.

Back in Vanilla, when I first reached 1g. I thought I was quite wealthy.
Then I browsed the AH for the first time...

The first time I went "mountain climbing" with a priest buddy was amazingly fun. I giggled about it for days. This was before free-flight in Azeroth was allowed. It's still fun in instances and buildings but just not the same.

Accepted a Quest.
Playing on a Mac with a single button mouse. I didn't know how to right click. I kept on left clicking and nothing was happening. I had to post here (EDIT: mis-remembered. I didn't post here, I posted on the WoW TCG forums) to find out what I was doing wrong and eventually figured out how to right click.
That first quest. Never looked back. Have now done thousands and thousands.
Cheers.

My first instance, Deadmines.
Sure after having run it a thousand times it became routine, but back in the old days, Instanced content (Which today we take for granted) was a highly revolutionary concept. Previous to wow, all content was out there in the world, therefore if YOU wanted to take out that boss, and I wanted to take out that boss, we'd have to fight one another to kill him. This is how every MMO worked prior to wow.
Then along came wow with a rather innovating solution: YOU get your own copy of the dungeon, while I get my own copy of the dungeon. And that simplistic task, marked a before and after in the industry of MMOs in general.
Barring that, one of the coolest and most awesome moments I've had in wow, was the horde version of the battle for undercity.
Quite simply THE BEST quest in the entire game. I feel sorry for the ones who never got a chance to do it while it was still available.
