Lets see.
Frost Mage: Freakishly powerful freebie class,
They're 8.6% of the 2200+ population arena wise while only being 3.6% of the total population and
their DPS is the highest in the game. Generally a reliably FOTM spec.
Fire Mage: Focused more on DoTs and fire damage.
Arcane Mage: Themed around controlling their (Unstable) mana reserves, they can do alot of damage by burning rapidly or do sustained by keeping their mana up and using their mastery.
Balance Druid: Does mostly arcane damage and has a "Limit Break" styled ability where they get more powerful whenever they cast enough of one type of spell, "Sun" or "Moon"
Beastmastery Hunter: Less of a ranged class and more of a "Pet" class, BMs use various pets for buffs, and their pet is 50% of their dps, give or take.
Marksmanship Hunter: Focused more on shooting stuff, nuke-heavy and more like a caster than the other hunter specs.
Survival Hunter: Uses more elemental attacks through traps and arrows, Trick abilities more common than bland "Does X damage" attacks.
Demonology Warlock: Same as BM hunter, but with more survivability and a pet that you don't micromanage just as much.
Destruction Warlock: More nuke less DoT, fire damage-based and explosion-happy.
Affliction Warlock: Drops a crapton of DoT effects on target and works on keeping them up, direct damage is an afterthought in comparison.
Elemental Shaman: Err, Caster that shoots lightning? I really have no idea what a Shammy does, But hey, Your palpatine.
Shadow Priest; some combination of DoT and channeled or casted spells, face-melting.
Did i miss anyone?
