Here is the message
Account Name: WOW1
Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")
This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.
Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.
We've found the above behaviour is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article:
http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/services/anti-gold/The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at
http://eu.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

I got a suspension for the exact same reason once. I called Customer Service and they said that something I was doing flagged the server that I was cheating in some way. The rep told me that the cheating detection automatically suspends the account once it detects suspicious activity. I asked for details because I wouldn't even know how to cheat at WoW, and certainly never did anything intentionally to violate the ToS.
The previous day my wife was helping one of my lowbie alts with runs through Strat while she hunted for the Baron mount, we must have gone through it 20-25 times (since each run was taking ~12 minutes, we never hit the instance limit and just did it over and over for hours). This convinced the server I was using some sort of automation software (I guess it assumed that a human wouldn't be willing to run Strat for 5 hours straight). Interestingly, my wife's account was not flagged.
I explained that I was actually sitting at the Keyboard during that time, and actually playing my character (insofar as looting kills is playing). This was sufficient for the Customer Service rep to unlock my account. I may have forgotten some details, this was a few years ago.
My advice would be to call Cust. Service (works much better than email) and ask. Explain that you didn't cheat or violate any rules, and ask for details on what they think you did -- maybe you'll be able to offer an explanation and get it unlocked. It's also possible that your account was hacked, and the hacker violated the TOS -- but even in this case, calling would be a good option. Found some phone numbers in a different thread:
North and South America Phone Support or
Europe Phone Support.

Thank you for contacting us concerning the recent action taken against the World of Warcraft account WoW1. After a thorough review of the circumstances involved in this action, the account has been reopened and access restored.
Please take a few moments to look over the World of Warcraft Terms of Use (
http://eu.blizzard.com/en-gb/company/about/termsofuse.html), as we take matters involving the integrity of the game environment very seriously. Please understand that should another incident of this nature arise in the future, it is possible that a different outcome will be reached, up to and including Account Closure.
The Terms of Use state that you will not "...modify or cause to be modified any files that are a part of the Game Client or the Service in any way not expressly authorized by Blizzard" or "...use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the World of Warcraft experience..." Additionally, the Battle.net Terms of Use (
http://eu.blizzard.com/en-gb/company/about/termsofuse.html) state that "You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Login Information, and you will be responsible for all uses of the Login Information, including purchases, whether or not authorized by you."
Thank you for your continued correspondence in regards to your account and for respecting our position.
