I havent made a Wowhead forum in a while. So heres a question that hopefully someone can find out for me. How was Naxx 10/25 "Built"? Did they use the old 40M model, move it, and buff the adds/bosses? or did they delete the whole thing and rebuilt in in Northrend from scratch?

Same thing, just changed to the lower range of characters.

naxx 10/25 is the same as naxx40 with very few adjustments.
they made it so dungeon geared level 80's can do it as their first raid.
which makes it lower in difficulity if you compare it too the 40man version which was the last tier.
all the boss fights are pretty much the same except 10man
Instructor Razuvious
has 2 pillars entering his training ground. which can be used for Mindcontrolling his trainee's.
the 25man version of this fight still requires priest too mindcontrol his adds like the orginal 40man was like.
beside that they added a teleport orb between the teleporter above the entrance so you're able to do saphiron and kel'thuzad while skipping the 4 wings. but this has been added in cata or mop forgot which.
anything else is the same mechanic wise as far im aware

Heigan the Unclean (safety dance man) had an entire component of the fight stripped away during the move from 40man to 10/25 man. Other than that, the relative difficulty is about the only thing that was drastically changed, that I can remember.

Wowpedia has an entire page about the changes between 1.11 Naxx and 3.0 Naxx.
Check it out
.
A lot of it is minor stuff- different enemy models, some different abilities (one of the DK mobs had a deadly whirlwind that was removed, for example)- but there's some interesting boss mechanic stuff that was in there that was changed. Loatheb used to decurse himself, the undead adds in the Gothik encounter were immune to magic, Gluth did an AoE fear. All in all, much more difficult than the Wrath version.

The technical answer you're looking for is: They Copy&Pasted Old!Naxx to make New!Naxx.
Old!Naxx is still in the game, but players can no longer access it. Just like every other instance that has been revamped (This includes the vanilla EK/Kalimdor)
New!Naxx was a copy&Paste of the old one, and they tweaked some of the mechanics of a few bosses, reskinned some of the mobs, and trimmed down a few annoying sections.
