Hey all,
Just a quick question regarding increasing your reputation with the Golden Lotus. I'm told that you can increase it by questing within the Vale of the Eternal Blossoms, however, when I travel around the area I can't seem to find any quests.
Is there something I have to do before I can unlock access to these quests?
Thanks!

There should be quests/dailies at the Golden Pagoda in the Vale, which is beneath the two enormous Mogu statues.
If there is nothing there, than you most likely never did the introduction quest, and you will need to talk to Dezco/Anduin at the Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai Summit.

Just a few things: you need to be level 90, completed the short introduction that begins with
Temple of the White Tiger
(Horde)/
Temple of the White Tiger
(Alliance), and you need to learn
Wisdom of the Four Winds
.
After that just head to the golden pagoda (between the two HUGE mogu statues) and quest away.

You can also open your Reputation window (default 'u') and click the star next to the faction. Now every time you do a heroic dungeon or scenario, you get reputation for the completion, or at least the first heroic or scenario per day.
Also, in the Halfhill market, if you have built your farm enough, you can do the work orders.

Thanks for all the responses everyone. I still can't seem to get this figured out.
Perhaps for Anduin to make his way to the Temple, I need to talk to the king of Stormwind first or something?
Explain it like I'm 5 if possible. I just want to get my epics! :)
Thanks!

Try talking to
Farmhand Bo
or
Wanderer Chu
(the map seems a bit off with him, he is actually at the temple of the white tiger). I'm pretty sure one of them (Chu, most likely) will offer you the introduction quest (
Temple of the White Tiger
) even if you haven't quested in kun lai at all.

You don't actually need to talk to them, Dezco/Anduin will have the quest at the White Temple regardless of if you picked the one from them up or not. It's just there to direct people to the right place as the Temple of the White Tiger is out of the way.

I must have missed something somewhere, because neither Farmhand Bo or Wanderer Chu are at the Temple for me.

Farmhand Bo is in lower Kun-Lai summit, where you get to after going up the Veiled Stair.
Just click on the link that was provided for him.
Cheers.

Oh, no. That's not what I meant! Haha, I meant that the quest isn't provided by Farmhand Bo, and Wanderer Cho isn't at the temple for me. Ah! I just want to quest. :(

Post a link to your character, so we can take a look.

OK, so you've completed Temple of the White tiger and you have 90 flying.
So, have you completed the quest that introduces you around the Vale (that is, tells you to speak to various NPCs around the Vale)?
Also, do you have any quests in your quest log in the Vale? There could be ones you need to complete at the Ruins nearby before the dailies open up for you.
The Ruins of Guo-Lai
Cheers.

I'm not entirely sure. I may have done it months ago when I first got the expansion. Since then I have taken a break, and only recently started playing again.
The only quest I currently have from the Vale is
Mogu Runes of Fate
.
I'm starting to think I'm just cursed and will never be able to get my epics!

If you aren't sure, you can install the AddOns Grail and Wholly. You need both. By default, they should scan your completed quests, and put yellow ! symbols on your world map marking quest givers you have not finished (or started). Daily quests show up too as blue !s. Note there is no way to tell which daily quests are available on any given day; therefore the AddOns show blue !s for all of them.
As for any other AddOns, you can delete them later if you don't want to keep them, but Grail and Wholly are very convenient.
Both are on Curse and WoWInterface.

So, there are no quests for you at the Pagoda? Not the Ruins of Guo-Lai one?
If you've done Temple of the White Tiger, and the talk to 4 members of the Vale one, this one should open up to you at level 90.
If there are no quests available at the Pagoda, and you're sure you don't have it currently, I would suggest opening a Ticket in game, and maybe a friendly GM can help you out.
A couple of other general things.
1. Operation Shieldwall Rep is better to get, because you get higher level gear from it.
2. In 5.3, they are removing the Golden Lotus revered requirement for Shado-Pan and August Cel, so at least you can do them, even if you can't get Golden Lotus figured out.
Cheers.

Thanks - I've installed them. They're showing where quests are for me, but I still can't access them it looks like.

Thanks for responding again, brit. I've just double checked at the Pagoda and have nothing available. I've spoken to everyone there in attempts to get something as well. This is quite interesting.
I've also just submitted a ticket explaining the situation, so hopefully that might be able to resolve it. As always, I'll be sure to respond within this thread if anything changes. Thanks everyone for your help, and if anyone has any other suggestions -- feel free to post them!
Thanks!
