Third Specialization in 5.3 PTR

Your thoughts?
For me: As much as I like a third specialization, I wish they'd just let us roll different second classes on one toon. I've always thought it would be awesome to be say, a shadow priest and destruction warlock on an undead, or a restoration druid and holy (sunwalker) priest on a tauren.
Perhaps they can put limits on it, like say having to re-level the second class manually and strip your gear before switching, and only do so once per hour, etc..... I mean, how it any different from a second or third specialization, instead of having to log out and back in on another toon? In dual spec, you don't even have to level it separately, despite vast differences in roles and playstyle(just ask a paladin/druid), so I really don't see the harm.
And although I doubt blizzard would allow it again for many obvious reasons(insanely hard to balance being one), hybrids have always caught my attention, and I feel like I'm missing what it would be like to be a Shadow Hunter like Vol'jin (Hunter/Shaman), the many Warcraft:RPG Prestige and Variant classes or have the powers (taken to the extreme) of shamans, warlocks, and death knights, like the Lich King (probably not a paladin anymore).
Yes I know, OP! But its always been a cool thought in my mind, and granting us a dual class switch would allow it without a lot of trouble of true hybrids. Perhaps I'm just missing what mages and death knights could do in the past, and how in Cata and MoP, hybrid specialization abilities were lowered ever more. Now there isn't even the option to have Archangel on a Holy Priest. That definitely made me a Sad Panda. :(
Back on Third Specialization, its something Paladins and Druids have dreamed about, having all base types of roles on one toon. And I can only see their popularity skyrocket even more for the future (and the complaints at the lack of bank space for them). For others like Warriors, Rogues and Hunters, it probably won't matter much, since most people don't choose that third spec for a reason, often with gameplay they don't like.
Since valor upgrades are returning too, it will be ever more harder to off-spec on the same toon anyway, since its capped at only a 1000 per toon. So yeah.

I know it's there, but I don't think we'll see it just yet; as it is a PTR thing and we all know that not everything on there carries over.

If it makes it through to live, they better be giving us more bag space, because a lot of hybrids will suddenly need another full set of gear. Or several, if they take their new spec into both PvP and PvE.

Aye, gear will be an issue for anyone who will take up another role or perhaps get a PvE spec as a PvPer (or vice versa).

As a priest who prefers healing, I'm glad to finally not have to spend obscene amounts of gold and time adjusting my bars and spec every time I want to go disc <=> holy, since I have to keep the shadow spec around for questing. And I'm particularly grateful that my stat priority is roughly the same on both healing specs.

The big question is; how much will it cost to unlock? :P

^ Probably a huge goldsink, if just flying in pandaria cost so much.

I am actually looking forward to this on my hunter --BM and normal SV specs and a SV spec for brawling/challenge mode dungeons where survival skills ( as in staying alive skills) mater as much as dps ones

Pfft- I said hybrid classes. I'm a Draenei hunter- all I'm a hybrid of is a smurf and a goat, neither of which have specially tailored gear sets.

This, leaning towards against it.
I'm kind of OCD about my specs. For example, I HATE not having 2 specs on a character, especially if I have learned dual talent spec. It just drives me nuts. Now I'm gonna feel like I NEED to fill out all 3.
How the heck do you handle not finishing all achieves and getting all pets? I mean its quite literally listed on what you don't have right there, just like a second or third spec. Probably more so. Truth is i didn't even realize about dual spec until I reached my first ever endgame character.

im not sure why you need 2 SV specs? once you choose survival you always get the same abilities and passives anyway beside talents. and those can be easily changed too the situation your in.

Easy to do and remembering to do them before you go into battle are two entirely different things :) I cant count high enough to register the times I have started a fight/boss and realise I am still in opposite talents.

I would welcome triple spec into the game with open arms, even on a pure dps class like my mage since arcane, fire and frost all play very differently from one another.
The argument I have heard against this is that it takes away meaningful choice which may or may not be depending how you look at it. Personally I think the day we were given the option of visiting a class trainer to unlearn our current spec pay a few gold then learn a new one, talent spec being a meaningful choice ceased to exist.
