Hi there,
Is this a question about the Wowhead Profiler tool or a request for assistance with an in game problem?

Im sorry, but WowHead is not Blizzard. We cannot help you with those type of in-game issues. Please contact a GM in game or use the official Blizzard Forums at
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/

Im sorry, but WowHead is not affiliated with Blizzard.
Actually it is. We have someone from Blizz that is here to help, but they are a Customer Service rep. I don't believe they deal with in-game issues.
P.S. It's Wowhead :)

I've moved this to the WoW Help forum. Hopefully someone here will have some useful advice for you but FederalAgent's advice to contact a GM is certainly a good starting point if you don't find anything else to do.

My ears were burning... Hey Kaltair! I'm at a bit of a loss... it sounds almost like the gear needs to be repaired. If you haven't don't think that's the case, and haven't done so already, try
resetting the user interface
to see if that does the trick. If you're particularly fond of the addons, I might suggest renaming the interface folder to something like 'interfacex' and then removing it to the desktop before going through those steps. If that doesn't do the trick, go ahead and
send us a ticket
. We'll be happy to help you troubleshoot this further. :)

It most definitely sounds like broken gear that needs to be repaired, especially as Kaltair appears to be a new player.
When you die, and especially when you revive at a Spirit Healer instead of going back to your corpse, your gear loses
durability
. When durability reaches zero, the item is considered broken and does not have any effect anymore, and does not show on your character when equipped. With the default UI, you will also see a knight icon with red areas on his armor in the upper-right area of the screen.
To repair gear, you need to find an NPC who can repair, indicated by an
anvil icon
when you mouse over them. They are found in most settlements. You can also display them on your minimap by using the tracking tool (button in the upper left of the minimap) to track "Repair".
Their vendor interface has additional buttons at the bottom to repair either single items, or all of them (including items in your backpack)
