Tooltips not correctly counting items from different difficulty sets

Tried to keep the subject short, but on the point. I've been tinkering with the tooltips and noticed, possibly to my own error, that the tooltip would not accurately show the 2/4 set piece bonus if one of the items was from a different difficulty version of the same set.
Hopefully this makes sense, but here is an example:
<a href="
http://www.wowhead.com/item=85371"
style="color:#a335ee" rel="gems=76606&ench=4825&pcs=85370:85373:85371:87187"></a>
<a href="
http://www.wowhead.com/item=87187"
style="color:#a335ee" rel="ench=4433&pcs=85370:85373:85371:87187"></a>
It will not show the two-piece, even though it should. Is this a mistake on my end, or do the tooltips not pick up the cross-difficulty set pieces?

These both work when made into links on the site itself.
I honestly have no experience of using those links off site so hopefully someone who actually knows will post soon but is the "rel=" value how those attributes are usually handled?
Out of interest, what happens if you just add that all to the URL like:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=87187&ench=4433&pcs=85370:85373:85371:87187
<a href="
http://www.wowhead.com/item=87187&ench=4433&pcs=85370:85373:85371:87187">
</a>
btw, I always like to see a silmarillion-inspired user name ^_^(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Based off their example, yes, the rel attribute is the way to go.
If I use the link method below, replacing the 509 gloves for the 496 variant, it will pick up the 4-piece bonus:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=85371&gems=76606&ench=4825&pcs=85370:85373:85371:85369
With the 509 gloves:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=85371&gems=76606&ench=4825&pcs=85370:85373:85371:87187
I can understand, they are technically different sets.

Oh I see. I'm sorry I misunderstood. Sounds like you're right about the bug. I'll make sure it gets looked at by the right people.

Thank you for your help!
And I do enjoy this username, although its availability is always spotty.
