Livin' the Life quest- can't get rid of the crate

For those of you who know it: I am all the way at the end of the mine, I right-click on the crate and it looks like it enables the vehicle function, because I can no longer do anything. I have to click on "leave vehicle" again, to be able to do anything.
So, any suggestions? looks like no matter what type of clicks I try, and no matter in what order, it is not letting me hide the crate.
help!

Try "/reload ui" when things go amiss, or abandon the quest and pick it up again. You've probably passed by this hurdle since you've posted, but those two things inevitably solve most problems.

Thanks. Which brings me to another question: I abandoned a quest which at the time I didn't know how to do it, but know i'd like to try again. however, the quest giver doesn't have the yellow question mark above it, so I can try it again. Any thoughts?
thank you!

Hmm, do you know the name of the quest? If it was auto accept, or had some other non-get-from-questgiver kind of start you may have trouble getting it again. But, if you know the name of the quest, you can look it up on wowhead and see what people say about it, and ask the question there if it hasn't been asked and answered already.
BTW: Did you know with Livin' the life quest that you can actually complete it without going into the mine, by using the crate above the mine outside?
Oh I've just realized what your issue was. You don't do anything once you've clicked on the crate. Just wait, and the two guys will talk for a while, and you'll get quest complete, and the crate will vanish.
Cheers.

The quest was "Delivery for Stormpike"; I needed to go to Loch Modan for it. The quest giver was a dwarf from Dwarven District<<Stormwind City.
I'll try until it lets me. Thank you for your help! Much appreciated!
P.S. Off topic: I asked about the crate thing while in the cave, and the other characters were like"I dunno, dude". Funny! If you don't know, how come you're doing it? Plus, I love when I'm called a dude, even though I'm a girl, playing a female character. Lol.

If you abandon Stormpike's Delivery, you should be able to pick it up again from the quest giver in the Dwarven District.
And, people all assume that everyone who plays a female toon is a G.I.R.L. (which is Guy In Real Life).
BTW: I assume you're leveling a Human, or at least, following the Human leveling path. Here is the path I recommend:
Westfall -> Redridge Mountains -> Duskwood -> Northern Stranglehorn -> Cape of Stranglehorn -> Eastern Plaguelands -> Western Plaguelands -> Badlands -> Searing Gorge -> Burning Steppes -> Swamp of Sorrows -> Blasted Lands. Note: I sometimes skip over to Felwood/Winterspring to get some extra XP because I like to get to level 60 and flying before heading to Outland.
Cheers.

Following that levelling plan, if all the zones are completed before moving on to the next, you should have no problems hitting 60 before finishing Blasted Lands, especially if you keep your eyes open for rare mobs and chests along the way.
And yeah, even though I'm a girl too, I assume that other players are male unless I specifically know differently.

Good point. However, I tend to stop at certain points in certain zones, and don't complete them. For example, in Redridge Mountains, I stop when I have to take Keeshan's boat. Also, in Badlands, I never do the ones that involve those three NPCs and using their abilities, and in Northern Stranglehorn I don't do the Nesignwary ones if I'm not a Skinner.
Cheers.

The path you guys recommended is the one I am taking. In Duskwood now.
However, I don't seem to understand one thing (maybe I need to read all sorts of guides). I am a Fury Warrior, but now I am getting my ass kicked, because somehow supposedly I don't have melee weapons (the mortal wounds button has completely disappear). So now I am trying to find melee weapons for a damn warrior, but how do I tell them apart? Before, it used to say in red next to them that they were melee.Clearly, I'm missing something.

Your level 18 spell
Furious Slash
will cause Mortal Wounds. As Fury you dual wield anything your class and race permits, and as you can see you must have an offhand weapon to use that spell. The primary stat you are looking for is strength. There is no 'warrior' weapon per se.
Noxxic and Icy Veins both have guides for every class and spec, but take it all with a bit of salt, they are primarily intended for end-game.

Don't have Melee weapons? How did that happen? You should have got plenty of Melee weapons in quest rewards, and there are vendors in town that will sell you ones if you really forgot to get them or something.
Cheers.

Going out on a limb and assuming she's got a sword and board instead of dual-wielding.

But doesn't Mortal Strike give Mortal Wounds even with only 1 Melee Weapon?
EDIT: Whoops, that's an Arms ability. Got it now.
Cheers.

Do you maybe have a ranged weapon equipped? A bow, gun or crossbow? Since 5.0 (Mists of Pandaria) you cannot equip both melee weapons and ranged weapons at the same time.

I had the best one-hand arms I could buy, and obviously equipped in each hand, but I still felt like I wasn't doing too much damage, and a fight took longer (hence, my fear that I didn't use melee weapons).
So, what I did I switched my specialization from fury back to arms, and all I could say was "I'm back, baby!" :-P
Guess I got used to arms style, and fury wasn't really what I expected. ;-)
