I shouldnt be posting something like here but am so mad, enraged about it i could help and thanks to WoWhead i can tell it to someone :)
So my story goes like that...
Currently am leveling a new because i want to compose a guide about Dungeon leveling/ Experience gained/ Loots etc etc. While que-ing and join in a random group entering the dungeon i've far seen blizz bigest mistake or one of them. Need/Greed loot system.Am currently leveling my warrior toon 52 now- Everytime a tank item was droppping the only one who didnt get it was ME! Community has changed a loot from loot&*!@#s/kids/trollers that make you mad when you ask them Why did you need roll on tank item and they answer- Its better than mine gives me stats!
Am like What stats can you possibly earn with Dodge and Parry? and you get answered Shut up Noob and they leave the group.
I have this issue like every 4-5 dungeons out of 10 and am getting pissed off not for not taking the loot which ill replace with a new one in the near 2 levels but for the actions taken and that behavior over *!@# low level items.
Really if its only that has it then ignore this post
Thanks and i do apologise for this post, wanted to take them out somehow :)

i dont have a broad sample pool to prove it cept my own....
i wanted horseman's helm so badly on my DK,
but my druid, rogue, priest, mage, shaman, and hunter got one, all within days.
i farmed for that helm religiously......... but noooooooooooooooooo. oh yea, because of that, i quit wow for 6 months, came back, then quit again for good.... that was in november of 2011.
and that's just one sample out of hundred's that i've been through.
im unsatisfied, and that's why i haven't played WOW for a long time... because of RNG. dont let it consume you to the point you quit like me.....

pvp is pretty pure to me. you grind and work for it, and at the end of the tunnel, you get what you deserve...
pve, you can grind for weeks for a particular item and some person will take it in front of ur eyes, and you know in yo heart they are undeserving..
like new guildie that becomes fully geared within 2 weeks, whilst it took you 6-7 months to do.
im just ranting now...

Whatever i may say might sound weird or whatever but if Blizz wont change just a bit of it then not just me but a lot players, respectfull ones not some kiddos trolling around- will be gone

RNG is just that. Random. We all go through it from time-to-time. It's just how it is.

^ This so many times. The system is broken in lower level instances, but at least once you hit BC then not every class can roll on every armour type.

My example. I play a rogue as Ass/combat so I could have 2 different sha weapons that are useful. I have had my legendary gem now for about 10 weeks and since I have entered LFR I have spent a coin on a chance to get a sha weapon with no luck. Quite annoying but meh, I can deal with it.
Last night however, I went into HoF LFR on my NEW shaman who could only just enter and what drops? A sha 1h mace that I didn't spend a coin on.

It is funny because 1-85 everyone I group with is really easy going and I havent had any loot drama. That is probably because I don't really care about the gear as it will be replaced so quickly. Then I get to the 85+ que and something amazing happens. Everyone seems to get replaced by the LEETS....

We all have horror stories...best thing you can do is just move on...most likely you will be in that dungeon more then several times and get your drop.
If your heirloom gear and leveling at an accelerated pace then that piece will have become moot anyway within a session or two.
If it's the etiquette that bothers you, put that person on ignore and just leave dungeon or initiate a vote kick and state the reason, most likely you will get that person kicked.
Until Blizz implements the same drop mechanics that you have in LFR, not much else you can do.

I've dungeon leveled on 2 warriors and a paladin, and all three went through this same thing. I finally just stopped expecting to get any loot from the dungeon itself, and mostly just hoped to get an upgrade from the bag at the end.

honestly. i just lost control when i couldn't get that horseman's helm. i lied to myself everything was going to be okay without the helm. i never been so wrong in my life. /hugs

This post is on fire :)
Lets say for us who level to the end game its not a problem, last night at lvl 59 there was a twink lvl 60 from Aggramar EU said that he run the dungeon like 100 times and yet he hasnt got the item he needed cos ppl ninjaed it in front of his eye either wearing heirlooms or better gear...
i guess the best bliiz should do its update the loot system not on the need/greed on specialization and role but on the sats as a role for 100% probabilities so if tanking trinket drops for e.g and the tank is warrior only him could need and a pally or dk and druid can roll on cos they can be tanks

I think a stat based loot priority system would solve a lot of problems. I've run into a lot of new (or ^&*!@#s that claimed to be new to avoid being screamed at) that would need on an item that was an "upgrade" even though it had stats their class didn't use. Blizzard knows that casters don't use strength or agility gear, and that melee dps/tanks don't use spirit gear. Limiting rolls based on the stats would at least ensure that a character that can benefit from the stats on the item would get it over a class that wouldn't. This wouldn't prevent the jerks that could use the item, but don't actually need it from needing on it, just to keep anyone else from getting it. Unfortunately there is no practical solution to eliminating the jerk factor completely.
The most recent example was a rogue that needed on a ring that had +str/sta and something else (I forget). The item was an upgrade for me, and I asked him why he needed on a +str ring and he stated he had a green ring, so it was an upgrade for him. Had he been wearing full heirloom gear, the urge to vote-kick him would have been too strong to resist, but his mismatched greens tempered my anger and I just went on with the run.

Which is why many two box an alt through dungeons with a level 90. No gruff or fuss and at your pace...and the tank isn't leaving; the heals will be healing; and DPS...no problem, even a healer can one shot the boss.

Yeah but the problem with that? Takes forever to freaking level, since that high end toon is eating up all the exp.
