A friend of mine just started a new Guild, and its been awhile since i've help run one, and so I can't remember how to make someone Co-GM or CO-Guild Leader, whatever you wanna call it. He's gonna be the GM and I am gonna be the CO-GM, but like i said, we can't remember how to promote someone to that Rank, the highest rank we can find is Officer. So can someone help me figure this out ?

There is no functionality in WoW to have a GM equal (or Co-GM). The other person will have that title in name only, not in actual in-game authority. Only one person can truly own the guild.(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

My guild run (ran) things like this actually with a council of five people who share authority and make important decisions together. As Sas says, you can make a new rank, call it "GM" and assign it all the attributes available but there will always have to be an individual that owns the guild. We planned to handle this by swapping that person regularly but very quickly we just left it on one person out of apathy. The only annoying thing that came up with any regularity was that only one person can promote up to that level so when a leader gets an alt you do need that GM character to log in.

You can make a rank of "Guildmaster", and give this rank full access to everything, but each guild can only have 1 "Guild Master" (the official GM rank).
