Just got my Warrior to level 80 and planning on gearing him for a Herald run, but not sure what I should be looking at stats wise.
Anyone here recently done it on a Warrior, or knows what to aim for even if they haven't done it? I'll be going as Prot, any help would be appreciated!

I did this at the end of Cata as a prot pally. Basically your ideal gear will be dodge/parry plate. The item cap is 226 for armor, rings, and trinkets, and 232 for main hand and shield. You can get away with some slots being 219 or even 213 (Justice trinkets from Dalaran for ex.) I got most of my gear from ICC 5 mans and Ulduar 25 runs with a few ToC runs as well. With mastery and (at the time) Cata buffs, pots, and food, the gear seemed less important as it once did.

Thanks for the response, though I know the restrictions of HotT and where to get my gear, I was looking at some advice on what stats would be best, ie. should I get as much Mastery as possible, is Strength the way to go with the new MoP conversions, that sort of thing.
I did read it's gotten a lot easier with MoP and that there's been people doing it with as few as 3 people, so maybe I'm just overthinking the whole min/maxing of stats and it doesn't really matter.

As a prot pally your stat priority will be
Stamina > Melee Hit (7.5%) > Expertise (15%) > Haste > Mastery > Parry > Dodge

This
might help, but it is from early last year, so.... Stats might've changed, seeing as some abilities certainly have be tweaked.

I'd go for armor > mastery * > stam > parry > dodge > exp = hit
That's what I was looking for, much appreciated! Never played a Warrior during WotLK so didn't know what the stat order was back than, and I thought with the way Strength gets converted into Parry in MoP that gemming/enchanting for that might've come into play.

I just tested the link. Works fine.

They totally have, also the links dont work any more. The items are very easy to find just using the wowhead.
I just tested the link. Works fine. But like I said, stuff likely changed.

I actually came across that site and tried it a few times, but links aren't working for me either. Thanks for the help though, I should be good with my stats now.

Best of luck to ya. I plan on doing HotT (or getting a bit more serious about it) on my rogue when I get back into the game.

It doesnt matter what our stat order was in Wrath, whatever it is currently is whatever it is currently. When you walk into ICC, your talents and abilities dont reset to patch 3.3 standards I guess is what I'm saying.
